hope you all had a wonderful august!

you can catch the spinning wheel at the beginning of the video - then I go into your questions for this month.I also have a few updates, and ideas for future bonus videos at the end of the video - so let me know what you think about those possibilities! 😇

thank you for being a patron 🥳 I appreciate you!

Wow, pretty excited that my pick won the spinning wheel! It is based off "Red Dragon" the first book in the Hannibal Lecter series, the book before The Silence of the Lambs. Pretty sure it's the first Michael Mann directed movie on the channel too. I think he has a really cool style that comes through in this film, like many of his others.

ah thank you for the context! first for the channel & michael mann movie for me in general!

Oh, the start of the video broke me a bit. August has been awful for me due to stupid work. It's been a mess. Still, great to see you! Is it the Nazi monkeys fault because he was trained that way or are monkeys inherently fascist? Hmm... I'm embarrassed to admit I had to look up the plural of monkey. You really want to go with "monkies" but you would be wrong.

For horror movies, have you seen "The Exorcist" or "The Shining"? I feel like those are requirements for horror fans.

Camron

Nice. Also, all your bonus video ideas are great.

New York! That is an exciting change! Do you plan on continuing to work in the film industry once you're there? And more importantly, will Peanut be coming with you!? Halloween/the Fall season is my favorite as well! And there are SO many good movies that will fit in thematically with this time of year! Normally I wouldn't describe myself as a "horror fan", but I was just looking through my top 100 movies list and there are actually quite a few horror films in there. I'll have plenty of suggestions whenever the post for those goes up! Looking forward to the Fall! I love the idea of doing a Patreon excusive reaction for the monthly bonus video. I have never seen any Studio Ghibli films either but I would be interested in giving them a try, so that might be a good opportunity. I also really like the idea of reacting to a show you have worked on! Even if there isn't a ton for you to say about props specifically, I think as someone who has worked on the show you've got to have at least a few interesting takes on the background/production side of making a show. I would be super interested in hearing from someone with the "inside scoop", which makes you unique amongst other reaction channels that I'm aware of. And at only 6 episodes I think that's a no-brainer. I hope you do it!

Peanut is glued to me for the rest of his life whether he likes it or not!! and I do hope to still be working in film in some capacity up there. pretty positive I will be doing those bonus videos for sure!

Hi Camilla, For scary, but not too scary films for October please consider: Tucker And Dale vs Evil (2010) Zombieland (2009) Tremors (1990) Thanks 😊
