Oof. You watched the censored, cut down version with ad breaks ☹️ Second time that's happened in the last couple months, that I've seen.

yea I didn't know that'd be the case until I was further into the movie and the voiceover bits were happening 😔

Yeah, that's too bad. I couldn't get through the last time I tried to do a watch along, partly because the real version doesn't sync up. It's not just that the swear words are ADRed over or that it randomly fades to black. There are chucks cut out of the movie, the real version is 8 minutes longer.

ah shoot. I can edit and reupload with a much lower blur level and unblur at the commercial break cuts - do you think that would help? I wish I knew before watching this movie 😕

"YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!" The most powerful line in this movie. BTW, this is my favorite Rob Reiner movie.

Unfortunately, it's not just during the ad breaks where they cut things. Like half of the very first scene was cut out (where they attack Santiago), and there's no ad break there. I only watched about 15 minutes or so, and it went way out of sync several times.

ugh wow. I honestly didn't even realize that it was common for so much to be cut out within a scene and not just cut that scene entirely. I'll try to make sure to check this kind of thing going forward - I'm sorry! hopefully the YT edit can be enjoyable!

I signed up primarily for this movie and you watched the terrible censored version. I cant watch this. Youtube is the only place that has this version which completely ruins a classic.
