hope everyone had a lovely weekend! did any of you watch the Super Bowl? as I tend to do every year with the SB, I tuned in with about 4 minutes left in the 2nd quarter to watch the halftime show, and then tuned back out 🤣 but I just looked it up and saw that Seattle won! are any of you from there?!

well, this definitely isn't a sports page, so anyway back to business!

we have a very franchise-y week this week, with Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Batman Begins!

and of course, more Arcane 😻

looking forward to it!

Very happy for the Seahawks and their Super Bowl win. Well deserved! I don't know if anyone here is familiar with the channel "Your New Zealand Family," but they recently visited the U.S. and Canada and attended a game in Seattle as their first ever NFL game. It was a thriller in which Seattle defeated their division rival LA Rams in overtime with a gutsy 2-point conversion to win 38-37. It's cool that they got to see the eventual Super Bowl champions in person.

From the area and very proud of our team.

i try to avoid watching the super bowl with all of my energy and vitality. i dont even know the names of the teams playing or who won and honestly it feels....amazing. kinda the same way i feel about the last jedi.

Without getting into detail.. "The Last Jedi" I feel embodies the spirit and mythology of the force & the rebellion.

Buckle your seat , Camilla.. this trilogy of superhero films will be nothing like you ever experienced before regarding these superhero film.. never seen such a degree of genuine, compelling drama in a superhero movie... Christopher Nolan out did himself in these 3 films.

Hi Camilla ... just saw your reaction to "Batman Begins" and as the Gordon detective/cop says at the end of the film..... ".... you really did start something here". This is the perfect movie into the introduction of the Christopher Nolan world , who is definitely feel that he is one of the best directors in the past ten years or so.... there is a lot more to his films than the Dark Knight Trilogy... there are films which jump into the genre of time & space of science fiction (Interstellar, Inception, TENET) , historical past / war (Dunkirk and what I feel is his masterpiece OPPENHEIMER) & thriller (The Prestige)... I am not sure if you have seen any other Christopher Nolan films but it is definitely worth investing your time , money & knowledge in the art of filmmaking as per Nolan. Also, he uses a lot of the same actors in multiple films -- Cillian Murhy (OPPENHEIMER, Incpetion, Dunkirk) Michael Caine(who is Alfred in Dark Knight Trilogy, Interstellar, Incpetion, The Prestige) , Christian Bale (The Prestige), Tom Hardy (Inception & one other film which I will not reveal) & Marion Cotillard (Incpetion & one ither film which I will not reveal) ... Granted you have a lot of films yet to see Quigley Down Under, Casablanca as well as TV series you are seeing or going to start) but I guarantee you that if you can some how fit the films of Christopher Nolan into your agenda, it will definitely be worth it. Take it from someone who has seen all of his films and have been able to do the research and invest the time in know Christopher Nolan's style of filmmaking. It will be an experience you will never forget!
