This is the definitive episode that shows Mel's true objective, that is to "save the city from People like Y O U!" her mother and war mongers like her! Just cause Mel is a strategist and is a forward thinking business person, she often gets misdiagnosed as someone without a heart. Just uses people and discards them. Same can be said of Silco yet he is worse and to some extent has the "by any means necessary" mindset. I understand Mel well, and Jinx, both have traumatic childhoods, despite the difference of Mel being on the side of the have's and Jinx on the side of the have not's. Mel able to keep her sanity through all her Mom's attempts to instill a cruel mindset and Jinx unable to keep hers due to so much personal loss. Ambessa.. Mel's mom, might as well just call her AmBadAsssa! 😏 Yeah, probably sounded better in my head but still had to say it! Vi, like most of us, tends to be self destructive and torpedo's things that are in her own self interest. Like Caitlyn's affection, due to self-loathing and thinking that she is often protecting others from the ill's that follow her. Most of us like when they leave us wanting more, even when it comes to cliff hangers as long as they are good episodes in their own right.
