SPOILER ALERT for anyone who hasn't seen the show or this episode, don't read below, BUT...

after watching/recording my reaction to this episode, I was talking to a friend and he told me that an overwhelming belief/theory is that Jinx isn't dead... let me know if y'all agree or if that's pretty true?! the main 2 reasons being a purple streak during the explosion (aka that is a way that they indicate Jinx's movement in the game, and so that's her getting away from the explosion just in time) and the ship at the end implying that's her getting away. he also reminded me of something she said early on in the show about wanting to ride one of those ships one day... (I'm going to need to go back and find that clip). anyway is this true?! what do y'all think? do I need to record an additional outro now that I know this? hahaha

Yeah pretty sure Jinx is alive. There's the airship at the end and the definite pink shimmer streak rocketing away from the explosion like you said. PLUS when Caitlin is studying the Hexgate blueprints at the end and holding a remnant of Jinx's bomb, she zooms in on the air ducts. The implication being Caitlin suspects Jinx may have escaped through there. Jinx found the will to walk away (breaking the cycle) and the will to keep living.

The producers came out and said she is alive and that was her on the Airship at the end Just walking away, I am so happy I could live to see the Artists, animators, storytellers and musicians come together to create a masterpiece of art that was so good bringing out emotions so good that it will forever be ingrained in our lives forever. ♥

Not at all? This anime has a 100%/95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes :D Like Arcane, Edgeruners is a prequel to the game. However, that's where the similarities end, as the game and anime's stories are self-contained. During gameplay, you'll encounter items, places and characters that were also featured in the anime. You're probably asking if you need to play the game to appreciate the anime. The answer is no. CD Projekt RED and studio Trigger have created a work of art that non-gamers can appreciate as well. Wonderful animations, a fantastic soundtrack—even the end credits [from the second episode] have their own theme. A brilliantly written story for 10 episodes, but I have to give you a fair warning: there are no filler episodes :) The anime was in development even before the game's release in December 2020. Normally, I'd recommend the anime trailer (there's also a NSFW version of it), but in the context of your question, I think the video they produced for the game's patch 1.6 is a better choice. I just finished your season 2 reaction and I love them! I don't want to repeat what has been said already, I hope you're interested to know the is a spin off series in the making around Noxus (the homeland of Ambessa and Mel). At least Mel is rumored to return in this new show, maybe more! So you don't have to say goodbye to all Arcane characters already ;-)

Honestly, I'm a advocate of embracing emotions, go with those feelings. (..๑◜ᴗ◝๑..) Ambessa is da bomb, one of my favs. So many good characters though. Still prefer the 1st season and I know lot prefer season 2. Whichever is the case for you, glad you enjoyed the ride! Consider watching those League of Legends cinematics about the arcane characters, like Ambessa and Mel, I thought they were dope.
