Trevor Slattery (Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley (Gandhi)). Fanboys were very upset by how they used The Mandarin & that he was a frontman for AIM. The MCU draws on 60+ years of comic book stories for its movies. Iron Man was created in 1963. The Mandarin was introduced as Iron Man's arch-nemesis in 1964, a Chinese warlord wielding ten alien power rings. AIM (Advanced Idea Mechanics) was introduced in 1966. This was all before Iron Man got his own official, standalone comic series in 1968.

From Iron Man, do you remember Ho Yinsen, the scientist in the cave? He appears in Iron Man 3 at about 1:25. You didn’t catch it (& I didn’t catch it for my, like, 4 times watching this movie). But it’s a nice piece of continuity.

Excited to continue the Marvel “journey” with phase 2! The reason you probably don’t hear much about the Iron Man sequels is probably because they are considered by many as bottom tier marvel movies. Iron Man 3 gets a lot of hate mainly due to the twist regarding the Mandarin. Apparently the Mandarin is a very popular Iron Man villain in the comics, and fans felt betrayed that they didn’t get the real Mandarin in Iron Man 3. Also yes I’m pretty sure you’re 2 for 2 on catching the Stan Lee cameos.

Not Liv Tyler, the beautiful and talented Rebecca Hall. You may have seen her in "The Prestige" (2006), or "The Dinner" (2017).

Myoclonic Jerk

Not Jennifer Jason Lee, the beautiful and talented Dale Dickey. You may have seen her in "Fallout" (series, 2024-2026), "True Blood" (series, 2012-2013), or "My Name Is Earl (series, 2005-2009).
