GREAT REACTION! 🤌 One correction for you. The worm hole was a theoretical depiction. They have been shown to be possible mathematically, but we don’t know that we’ll ever be able to create one so that was correct. But the black hole, outside of some admitted “artistic choices” for clearer viewing, isn’t a fictional imagining, it’s said to be the most scientifically accurate depiction of a black hole ever made for a film. We have some great real images now of actual black holes and they are wild! The accretion disc and the way light bends is all accurate. Kip Thorn consulted for Nolan and things like the time dilation they experienced, the bending of light around the black hole and many other pieces, they used Einstein’s actual equations to feed the computer models. (Everything outside the black hole anyway lol) Fantastic film! Thank you!!

Matthew in an interview said the emotional 23 years scene was a first take only. He didn’t want to see the video beforehand and wanted it to be a true reaction while also thinking of his own family. One of my favs from him

Love how this movie can be mind-bending with it's talk of dimensions and time and gravity, but we can all still understand the film because at it's core it is a story about love

2026-10-28 12:00 You mentioned that because this is a Nolan film they probably did drive through a real cornfield for that shot at the beginning. The truth is even better, Nolan had the production company plant about 500 acres of corn and spent about $100,000 planting and maintaining it during production. After they were done with the set they actually sold the corn for about $160,000. They made a profit.

Haven’t watched Interstellar since it came out, and barely remember it. It was basically a first time watch, and man I forgot how good it is!

wow and for it to be so genuine and beautiful 🥲 it'd be really difficult to try to recreate anything as authentic as what they got!

Camilla's Corner

wooooahhh!! it blows my mind almost too much to think about the existence of black holes. scary stuff LOL

What a great reaction! I haven't seen this in a long time and I was very happy to watch it along with you! Thanks Camilla! Fun little fact; with the exception of the first person we see telling a story, all of the other interviews are real people describing living through the dust bowl of the 1930's. They were taken from the documentary directed Ken Burns called The Dust Bowl. It's absolutely fascinating and heart breaking to watch. Highly recommend checking it out.
