I love Michael Keaton being in this movie. He played Batman in Batman (1989), a crucial proof of concept that showed audiences and studios there was a mainstream, serious market for comic-book films. And then he gets to be a villain in the MCU.

Oooo. Have you seen "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"? It's a classic. Little movie cameo as Peter's moving through the suburbs.

This is definitely a fun Spider-Man movie, and can’t believe it’s about to be 10 years since it came out. Vulture was the villain that Rami wanted to use in Spider-Man 3 played by Sir Ben Kingsley, before he was pressured to use Venom instead. Marvel didn’t do Peter’s origin story, because they felt it had been done twice before, and they didn’t want to be repetitive. Due to that they omitted his origin story, and decided to only use Spider-Man villains that haven’t been adapted before. Liz is apparently not Peter’s love interest in the comics, and actually Harry’s love interest. Danny Glover’s character, and the nephew he mentions are actually big players in the Spider-Man comics, but not yet in the MCU. Also aperently this was Zendaya’s debut movie appearance.
