Will's going to get his first Secondary Ability at level 10.Here are the options he got when he was originally offered them, minus the ones he has now.Stone charge

Can you guys think of any other secondary abilities we could offer Will when he hits lvl 10? I might grab one or two from the comments.As always, instant win buttons that take over the story are unlikely to be included.Keep in mind, secondaries are added every 10 levels, and are afforded 1 upgrade every 10 levels, so it won't get better until he hits lvl 20.

Gaunt

Momentum redirection of some kind would fit with the goat theme. Being able to make unnaturally sharp turns at a dead sprint or shift the momentum of running into a blow.

Ok, so considering that in this setting, a skills potential is based on how early you take it, I say he takes preys senses so that he can upgrade it into something like spatial sense later on. Or sourdough. I forgot the exact wording on the ability but I remember that it would be really useful to have later on

Play Dead - would fit in with the earlier plot line with the priest and would help with the Lord chasing him. Also, it could be framed as an aspect of the Fainting Goat.

Sourdough allows him to incubate sacrifice materials so that they can be used more than once, essentially regrowing the sacrifice martial. If he can get the best abilities possible by just borrowing sacrifices rather than actually using them outright it would be really useful. No combat potential at all though

From his sacrifices he has time space gravity and I guess himself although I don't know what that would qualify as. Destiny or fate?

Another good one is area of effect increase ability(space). This would apply not only to his class abilities but also his gear abilities.

So sacrifices are Earth goat, rare space dragon, and himself? First 3 feel kind of related to the goat, last one sounds more personal... My first thought was some sort of spacial sense because of scout class, feels low hanging fruit. Second idea was some sort of scale based skill. That sounds like literally scales, but is more related to a balance. I had no idea where to go with it from there.

Call of Caprinae - maybe a long distance call that can be heard by allies to share location, possibly having some alternate use such as indicating the location of any creatures that hear the call in an area. Like goat echo location. In folklore this would also have a chance of inducing certain behaviors in the people who heard it, such as pregnancy and increased sexual desire. Meh, it could be funny. The location finding would be the selling point for a good rank one in my opinion.

Resourceful Synergy - an ability that causes synergesic effects to form between compatible Relics Will has equipped. His cloak and acid ring may cause the cloud his cloak produces to be mildly acidic to enemies for example, or his axe and boots may result in a slightly increased attack speed while unobserved.

Adaptable - passive ability where Will gains resistance to the last damage type that hurt him, stacking with continued damage up to some maximum. Damage reduction per stack and maximum stacks scale with Resilience.

Gravity’s Friend - increase or decrease a the effect of gravity on a target individual or item for a limited time or until dismissed. Maximum duration and weight change scale with Acuity. This one could be useful for making allies and equipment lighter, debuffing enemies, increasing range for projectiles, or tons of other creative applications.

Stone Hand - conjure a hand out of nearby stone that can be telekinetically controlled by Will. possible upgrade to Elemental Hand which lets Will form a hand out of any nearby elements (stone, ice, lava, etc.) This one could be neat if you want Will to end up with multiple specialized hands at higher levels between his Phantom Hand, this, and any other hand-based abilities he gets in the future.

I’m picturing Will’s legends making him out to be some kind of Hecatoncheires with this one.

High Ground: Gives combat benefits when Will is considered to have the high ground compared to his opponent, relative to his personal direction of gravity. Synergizes with his existing footing ability, which will automatically try to give him the high ground in most situations.

Could also give him a minor ability to gradually adapt to any hostile environment he finds himself in.

There's a difference between eating and chewing cud. And it'd make it much less situational. Goat Meditation: Chewing on an organic substance grants ((stat scaling+skill level scaling)*static coefficient)% broad-domain mental resistance. Including but not limited to: Charmed, Enchanted, Enslaved(Mental), Mind Raped, Brown Effect, Horrified, Feared, or Corrupted. Just have it list a whole bunch of various mental debuffs so we can see Will's eyebrows raise at the variety of threats to his mind he has to be paranoid about from now on. Fun fun. Also this Ability would require, practically speaking, for Will to adopt an oral fixation which is something Loth can tease him about, and the mental protection would stop the moment Will needs to stop chewing for whatever reason, such as talking back to someone, or replacing his chewing gum, or when he jaw gets tired. Some of these can be trained through or around but not right away and not everything can be mitigated.

Phantom Eye - conjure a phantom goat eye similar to his Phantom Hand that would allow him to scout ahead, look around corner, and see the stats of Relics that others have equipped.

Grounded Bamf: Short range teleport along a surface while you have at least 2 limbs in contact with the surface.(vibes with the the classes minor focus in Earth and Spacetime.)

Distressed Baker Girl/treasure - will can Sense If someone with an non combat class nearby is in danger. He gets directional information about the distressed target. - would be a shame if he abused that somehow :D

Expedition Leader - Party members receive a small portion of Will’s passive class abilities, giving them better footing to start and other buffs as he gets more class passives.

That Guy

Idk if he’s the kind of guy who would take it but maybe because he’s a resourceful climber and a call back to how he got that he could have an ability that as a lost resort he give a part of his body to the tower for a temporary( or permanent) large boost in stats proportional to what he lost. Maybe he puts off getting the ability and acquires it in a life or death do or die scenario( him being in one of those seems fairly common so maybe not that but there’s a thought)

Helping Hand - When you are holding a willing creature you may influence the direction of their personal gravity (Maybe upgradable to effect enemies, but not the first upgrade) Rope Trick - Your gain a personal storage space for rope, if you already have a personal storage space it is considered to be triple it's size for the purposes of storing rope.( Eventually upgradable to the DnD spell that lets you hide in your own storage) Headlong Charge - Adds damage and a scaling push effect to a melee attack for each meter of distance the user moves in a straight line before the attack (Upgradable to allow the user to spend charge to distort space such that there is more distance between them and an enemy)

Titan's Grip: Allows the user to subtly warp space to hold objects that would otherwise be too large in their hands. Can expend a charge to increase the space warp intensity and slightly reduce the weight of the object

So far he has magical goat powers and magical hand powers so really his third should be magical Drake powers that are secretly goat eating a tin can powers. Dragonkin's Breath: Expel a gout of [insert uru drake breath attack here]. 1 charge. Breath attack can be modified by consuming relics.

How about Gender Change! Everything switches up with this magnificient Active Ability! His physical stats swap with his mental ones, as does his wiener when it inverts!

Gruff Bleeding, a sort of mental debuff/self-buff that only is really effective as you get more hurt. You look like you should be about to fall over, yet act fine... and that's terrifying to your enemies. And the self-buff being that you don't heal or stop getting worse, but you can stoicly push through (which feels very fitting for William).

That would work I was thinking more like a "thorns" style Physical melee damage returns a % of damage to attacker. With the caveat that they have to actually take the damage i.e. no armor or blocking. Thinking more about the legend of O and company..."William o is so strong that just punching him knocks you out". That being said yours is more helpful

Dragon's Horde - dimensional powers get applied to allies the more he hoards what's truly important to him. I'm thinking baps, but perhaps you could extend that to buns as well >.>

Inertial state - it is harder for outside forces to change the inertia of the user. Could be active or passive with active costing charges and passive bringing about unexpected negatives like making it more difficult to ride in a vehicle
