So, eventually this series is gonna hit RR and possibly Amazon after that. I'd like to have one in the pipeline from my cover guy by the end of June, if possible.  Here's what I've got so far:

I'd like to condense and dramaticise his first fight with the prawn and make it into a cover. So the first image here is the general concept of the pose. a sort of 'bring it' feeling. Forget the clothes and weapons, just the pose.

I was cruising through power armors when I saw the Hellcat armor from Fallout 76 and thought "yeah, something like that could work."

This armor needs to have a large section of it torn away where the prawn got a hold of him, revealing Perry's abs and wound (much to Hardcase's enjoyment)

I really liked the pitted look of this blade. gave it a grungy feel I liked. Paradox will have an array of faintly glowing obviously magical blades  behind him. Maybe in front too?

The armor will of course be made of cardboard and the torn away pieces will make that abundantly clear.

Background might have fleeing civilians. What do you think? Does it need any more? Is it a terrible Idea? Let me know, and link to images  as examples if necessary. A picture (especially one with notes) are worth thousands of words. If you mention that he didn't actually have swords, but instead had highly practical little nubs with blades on them about the size of a finger, you get a cookie, but it's not gonna look cool on a cover.I want something on his arm, but Idunno what. I was considering some kind of metallic magical whip? Idunno. A cosmic mist of some glowy...stuff?Arm spell-frame suggestions welcome. As are comments telling me I'm wasting my time =)

You have a solid arsenal when it comes to phallic weaponry for paradox, but you don't have anything that explicitly shoots goo to disable foes. Enter spidersilk; spider silk even in its weakest form(the very sticky stuff) is comparable to steel in Strength and has amazing elasticity. If paradox had a Spiderman-esqe weblauncher coild on his arm it would be pretty damn useful.

MurkyTruths

You might be asking, "how would he even produce that much spider silk without more bullshitery that I'm comfortable with? I answer with yeast. There is currently a geneticly modified yeast that has the ability to turn sugar into spidersilk, in a similar prosses to.making beer. And it would be realities cheep for him at this point to get it to scale

Sorry for all the spelling and grammar mistakes

Perfect can't wait

Crownfall

Sounds awesome to me

Ellija

Only thing I don't like about the sword is in text it says they have a "cyber" look to throw people off the magic and that sword made of hardlight would look magic af.

Macronomicon

I'm considering sacrificing accuracy to make a cool cover. I considered adding the cyber look and didn't like the way it looked in my head.

Deinos

I want cookies!

Macronomicon

only Ellija gets cookies. You didn't mention the inaccuracy of the swords to the source material.

Deinos

😛

Macronomicon

I wonder how far i could push the phallic imagery if i never brought attention to it. like it shoots white goo that only defeats women? I'm not gonna, but it's a silly thought.

SunderGoldmane

It would be cool to see other supers in action in the background. Maybe charging in or currently dispersed and stuck in walls/rubble. If hardcase makes the cover she should definitely have blush emotes on her armor while staring at Perry’s Abs.

Macronomicon

haha, funny, but probably too silly for the cover. I feel like it wouldn't know what it was going for, silly or serious.

SunderGoldmane

Now is the time to establish canon for hardcase’s mech suit having LED emoticon panels in the place of headlights.

Ellija

Yeah totally reasonable. One thing you could throw in text to explain the pitted/weathered look especially considering his deception with the style is already seen through is that because the simulacra of the weapons are made so small any pits/manufacturing defects come out amplified in the larger version.

MurkyTruths

I could see the scenario, Heather decides fir whatever reason to start pranking paradox via Gender shenanigans. To get revenge he crafts spider silk that only binds to humans that conceptually view themselves as female
