For those of you who've actually read Wake of the ravager, this is the proposed cover. Or at least the rough draft of the one I requested.Changes i'm going to Request:Nadia on the right is going to be pulling harder on Calvin's ear with a more aggressive look, shouting while pointing offscreen.Probably going to shorten Ella's hair (The left one) Maybe change her weapon to something more bludgeon-y. Make her expression more positive and less aggressive. The cover of book 2 is going to be on Kala's book as an easter egg.Calvin will probably be wincing more than he is screaming, with a slightly harder tug on his ear.Thoughts?Title is: The Problem With Princesses

I'm very confused as to what Calvin is doing, maybe the changes will fix that. I like your proposed changes, I'm hopeful Ella has her shark teeth on display if she's gonna be looking happier. Kala chilling on the ground is solid. Could maybe add Kurawe is the background or Learner reading over Kala's shoulder? Although too many characters on display is probably better to avoid.

I believe that Ella's breasts aren't pronounced enough, she is very well endowed in the story. Where's Calvin's wasp? What spell is he casting, there isn't any spell he can cast that makes clouds and lightning, I suppose he could be using dupdomancy to make cold fog and lightning, but how is he directing the lightning? I think the spell would be better as an inferno, it teases the readers and will make them wonder how he will cast fire until he goes to the apothecary.

Maybe change the dark cloud to wasps. Elliot is also missing. Not sure where book 1 ends, I assume it's the wedding if Nadia is there as a girlfriend and not girlfiend.

someone hasn't read this yet? I mean who doesn't check out the author's other works if they like it enough to pay for adv chaps? That's just leaving fun on the table! Also I thought Cal was a tall skinny muscle nerd. Not a hobbit (Too harsh?)

Also also, your not toning down the violence and lewdness are you? I just thought you were doing a slow build up to develop the characters more and avoid the burnout/ world build, so you don't, dead end the story again. Cause if your wimping out for a wider audience I think that is going to come back to bite you with long time readers. You can be funny light hearted grimdark and exotically inclined all at the same time. I've seen you do it and its why I read your stuff.. I will whine like a bitch if you start to be just another ya fantasy writer. (I may just be reading too much into that comment you made earlier, if so keep up the good work.)

Maybe this is too big of a change, but I thought it would be Kala and Ella next to Calvin with Nadia on the ground? Maybe with Nadia looking up to Calvin. Though I guess Nadia is the more obsessive one so the ear pulling makes sense. I do agree with others saying Calvin should be holding a wasp though. Otherwise it looks dope, and I'm super glad you picked it up again. Thanks for writing, I'm loving everything you're putting out!

... have you read any works by Randy Darren, or even romance novels. I'm pretty sure as long as the main character doesn't go around raping , or having underaged sex your fine. But your the one who has exp with them not me. (another example is anything by that horney troll Stuart Grosse who works are just a platform to rape fanfics characters from other media, mostly video games and comics )

The spell has to be him spewing out an endless stream of unusually coordinated wasps. Have it so there's a wasp crawling on and inspecting the 'camera', and a low 'fog' of extra wasps settling in around the landscape separate from the main target of his attack. Until Calvin obtains Atom Ant, his spell was only specifically fantastic at slaughtering vast masses of low Breakers rather than fighting anything on his own level. This would likely be far too busy for cover art, but I figure that might be more accurate to the story. You could have this done as an extra two-page illustration, light novels tend to have multiple high-detail scenes depicted that wouldn't fly as cover art.

I recall you saying something along the lines of "It's my rainy day book, and I'll likely only publish it if I need money or have a Child" or something to that effect. I'm guessing the financial turbulence of the Apocalypse:Generic System issue finally fulfilled the criteria for publishing WotR?

An audiobook publishing company approached me for the audiobook rights, but i gotta edit it in order to do that: if it's edited, it might as well go up on amazon too. Additionally, it should allow me to keep ISM off Amazon and on RR for an extra year or so. So it just kinda made sense. Unfortunately I didn't knock anyone up.

It kinda sends the wrong message. like, it's hard to guess what the story is about from the old cover. He's not a tiny child through most of the series and Karen doesn't do much more than a mentor role after the opening, so...
