Okay, so, read Ch. 83 first, obvs. The pure black hemisphere is the work of a chaos god of some sort who has been summoned (most likely accidentally) and is just kind of doing his thing.like Q from star-trek. Just kind of an omnipotent asshole that likes dicking with people. Due to power creep issues, The focus will be on surviving or outwitting, not defeating.Now. What is inside? My two major ideas as to what happens inside the void:#1: Perry wakes up in a time-loop created by the chaos god, but it totally unaware of it until it's brought to his attention.#2: The entire inside of Franklin City is being forced to participate in some kind of game-show.Now, what do YOU think is happening in there? If your idea is better than mine, i'll steal it, obviously. If you would like to suggest specifics for a time-loop/gameshow, that would be great as well.I have to go out with family this morning, but will revisit this later tonight.

I like the gameshow idea

Nasa Wofford

Japanese game show with a focus on romance- very little death just Eldrich weirdness by a chaos God who just found out that romance novels exist

DeeSharkman

You could do a gameshow/time-loop combo Where you go until you die and then wake up the morning of the day you died. Except it's not just you, it's everyone. The game part could be attempting to escape the loop, kick other people out of their loop, or some random goal with the accompanying chaos of everyone looping

Keanu Entertainment

If its cut off from time why not have every person out of sync. Every person is moving on a separate timeline and the void trip that perry goes on makes him sync up with real time. Might be more chaotic to read and.

Darune Albane

I think the chaos god needs a reason other then enjoyment/assholery .. his chaos needs an underlying point .. my thought the god dislikes stagnation and his chaos is to stir the pot the create change .. for the good or bad it does not care

Ford-Thomas Frank Loveland

I like number 2 seems like it can be really fun, use some weird late night game shows and add some dangerous elements

rizen

I like both. Where it's a gameshow death game, but if anyone dies, it loops. And the goal is to beat the puzzles without deaths using trickery and madness. I'm thinking fae rulesets with loose interpretation of words meanings as a way to find loopholes in puzzles. Fits the concept of a chaos god in the first place.

Seadrake

And since it's a game show there are prizes XD

vetro 26

I feel like the time loop would be interesting but Perry being Perry it would get out of hand very fast.

Kyle

This here it needs find the chocolate with Chemestro or another top hero

Zachary T Pruckowski

It's both a time-loop, and a game show. Every loop, people earn "points" for what they accomplish/how long they survive, and they get "rewards"/penalties for the next loop. So each loop is subtly different, because the guy who "won" the last loop gets some kind of bonus. Alternatively, it's the opposite - the people who did well last time get a more challenging loop next time, creating subtle differences.

Leobardis

A "Grand Scavenger Hunt" where everyone's body/mind have been swapped randomly and can only be returned by (idk, shaking hands with your body) Similar to the Globetrotters episode in Futurama, but even if the city only had 1 Mil. residents thats way more chaos. Wouldn't even have to swap the people on the train on entry, just leave them trying to do cleanup for a city where anyone might now be in a famous supers body or a villian might like their new identity as a chance to start over/get away.

Scott Crawford

I kind of like the time loop idea. Game show feels too silly, time loop you can do some stuff with his system helping him figure out that he's trapped, either having him keep levels despite time resetting, or an increase in stability or attunement showing him that something's wrong

Some Random

i mean in a city where super powers are normal and heavily relied upon for a large amount of public infrastructure, id imagine that temporarily eliminating powers would be a pretty good way of chaotically dicking with people.

Jimmy Oneil

I don’t have a better idea but time loop doesn’t really do it for me. Maybe everything in the orb is connected to a alternate universe? Some sort of worlds altering device the anti versions of frank city trying to use? Idk Thats just a loose idea

Oth

I like time loop better

djineater

That would be so funny, and they play for permanent buffs or debuffs but since it’s chaos god they are dumb ones like you will never again stub your toe on a table

Sands

Game show with power swapping. Every person who has a power now has someone else’s

Josh Cothran

How funny would some type of dating gameshow be

Aloysius

Time loop but it doesn't fool his system or the mimic so they keep progressing and that is noticed by perry. If timeloop option is picked i would have it change one random thing immensely every new loop due to chaos god. So maybe the entire city is underground one time or the streets are rivers. That stuff i suppose

David Giles

If it's some sort of chaos being, all of the above but switching between at random intervals.

Zachary Weenig

Quick question...Chaos God or more Eldritch God? Different scenarios.

Enaz the great

#2 - game show. Time-loop has already been used so many times that it's kind of boring, also I kind of want to see what kind of game show the author will create.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

a game show would be great. time looping would be more generic, less fucking around and will be broken pretty quickly by perry, while a game show has bigger consequences. the swapping thing would be fun, and so would be inverting everyone's power, but a game show gotta have a goal of some kind, not just a funky event. maybe a game of tag, where every super has a point that other supers can collect by tagging them, see who piles up the highest score? think of the cool inventions tinkerers would use and all the new ways people could use their powers!

Jared Bowers

So a rouge like game show? That could be fun.

Kote's chronicles

Time loop is the best one but would be a long term thing i think. Hard to do a small sub plot with a good time loop. Game show would be easier to finish within a few chapters. Mind swap is an idea. Let people swap bodies and thus powers. Have perry swap with someone with body morph powers and be REALLY good at it despite it not being his body do to the whole mimic thing. Maybe make it so when they get their bodies back perry has a new power to potentially buy with points related to the body he inhabited do to his mimic nature? Body swap would work with game show or just storming the place and fighting. Could add time loop when they die, making everyone on diffrent amount of restarts as the die a diffrent amount of times as they get used to new bodies. Who ever completes the desired task 1st is the "universe" that becomes reality while all others get trimmed. Making any deaths in that one permanent. That would add some tension as perry would relise that if he let's himself die he can try again with no deaths of anyone and Save people, but he risks others finishing in their loop with him being dead and their reality being the new default.

Funguslord

A game show where you start off powerless and have to earn points to buy your power back. Different powers have different costs so really powerful ppl will either need to buy weaker powers or go powerless for a long time to earn the points to get their power back. First buy basis so hypothetically someone else could get Solaris (or whatever his name was) power and the such. Maybe there is the ability to trade powers too. Because this is a game show and civilians are playing too there would be new powers that are available to buy that no one in Franklin had. Maybe they are left over powers from the last time this god did the game show. Final prize could be either a new power/power source or could be Solaris power. Anyone eliminated from the game show participates as a collective audience which gets to vote or influence upcoming games. Downtime between games for the purpose of buying powers or items with points.

Red Viking

Quiz show, but everyone has to do obstacle courses that match to their powers, so a speedster needs to go many times farther than a regular person, bruisers need to take more punishment, tinkers get harder questions, so on and so forth.

Jesse Tomlinson

I was going to suggest this as well. Call it "Close the Loop" at the start of every day is a highlight reel of the best exploits. Which would of course change the outcome as everyone counters eachother. Maybe have some sort of point system to buy buffs and debuffs that last for that iteration but are utterly ridiculous. Like every third vowel is a rubber ducky sound when you talk, you are censored like a Japanese porno and it doesn't matter if you have clothes on or not it's still there, or you are immune to every fourth projectile.

Funguslord

Or possible those eliminated have their points gathered until that point pooled into the final prize and the final person left gets those points and their run at the store to buy whatever they want pretty much ensuring whoever wins is the new top dog of Franklin city but since the store has more then just powers maybe the final winner buys something to benefit Franklin city and not themselves. Who knows.

Jesse Tomlinson

Make the objective to either close the loop or go the there can only be one route.

Danielle Sanchez

Game show sounds less done to death, although I have full confidence you could write a time loop thing that wouldn't be boring.

Keegan Walder

I agree with a few of the other commentors the game show idea is way more appealing I dislike tim loop stuff it's been done so much and rarely done well

Aupsie

I think it may have been done by Worm before, but I really like the idea of having everyone be pretty much unable to recognize anyone else or remember their previous affiliations / relationships. Could be a part of the game show though !

Funguslord

Alternatively since Perry's power is exponential his power might supplant the previous final prize since if perry had to buy his back it might cost too much unless the cost is based on current ability and not potential ability. I personally like the idea of insanely expensive options in the store that no one will realistically ever get the points for too.

Funguslord

As a side note perry would lose both the system and the mimic as a package deal because he will die if only 1 is lost I think. Maybe that would mean he could do magic as he could before his mom put the mimic soul in him.

Baines

Kyon-kun, Denwa!

rwn

The chaos god is running his TTRPG game, and decided to do some cross-spacetime shenanigans - so now it's half Franklin City, half fantasy-medieval Europe (and grandma is so mad about that because _they get everything wrong_) and an extra half grafted on that's vaguely cyberpunk except everything is pure technobabble and everyone's just ignoring it. And then somewhere in the city there's a bog standard four PC party (elf bard, gnome wizard, dwarf fighter and human cleric) causing a ruckus and just generally murder-hoboing around, demanding quests and trying to fight / seduce everything that moves. Killing any one of them just leads to their "brother" or "cousin" (aka, same eldritch entity puppeting the same character sheet) showing up a few hours later. (Grandma is also mad at the wizard because _that's not how magic works_, but he can still cast fireball somehow)

Baines

body swap with the level of teen angst currently present is just lol I want the viewpoint to be hardcase in perry

Thomas

Franklin city turned into a Labyrinth, but every time someone enters a new area they have to compete in a different type of game show. Whenever any one completes a gameshow successfully the Labyrinth changes paths. The goal is to get to the center and meet the Chaos god who will either kill them or grant them a minor wish (like turning them into a super or returning the city to normal space time). Every time a minor wish is granted the entire bubble resets back to where it was at the start and everyone has to play again. The game show difficulty should scale to the individuals who are playing that game show. Some of the game shows could be like Squid Game, other like jeopardy and you never know which until you start playing. Death would be permanent because the god doesn't have the power to resurrect someone.

STORRM

Game show, GAme SHow, GAME SHOW! but do it like one of those Japanese ones, the classis weird ones, here is some reference martial https://movieweb.com/weirdest-japanese-game-shows/ also every body getting body swapped and having there aggies changed and other random stuff would be fun, nat in perrys body his dad and mum switching his grandpa being a boss baby his grandma being smoking hot, inverted powers? hmm na... talking cars? people becoming ducks? also i think Mister Mxyzptlk is better then Q for zany bullshit fuckery

Pierre laplant

I think it's Jeopardy but all the categories are weird bullshit from other dimensions.

Frederic Vincent

An Olympics style game show where participation depends on what power you have. This could help develop other potential side characters or Franklin city world building.

Chad Burnett

Could turn it into an episode of tiny tina playing bunkers and badasses or some equivalent

FreakShow

Jeb is in the void

Selkie

Unlikely to be taken, but - nothing. So to speak. It’s simply cut off and there’s massive *chaos* as a result. Half the people want to stay like this - no prawns. The other half are like “fuck no we need to get the farmland so we can grow food to eat.” Everyone is fighting everyone else over this, and it’s massively chaotic. Letting people be the architects of their own demise

PlasmaticPi

First of all, why not both? With release conditions being to win.

Leander

Game show, with both rewards and punishments, but instead of the punishments being dangerous or lethal, they are humiliating, like having your most embarrassing moments streamed to all other contestants. This could also be used to advance the romantic subplot between Heather, Nat and Perry.

Bon Bon

hi, I have a question: is this chaos god like chaos gods in Warhammer universe or simply "chaotic"? also would be a fun thing that only person who was not affected by this anomaly is Perry's classmate (forgot his name) because he was at work in the motel and Sophie (angel) took him into some kind of defense sphere and by the end of this story he is the only one who did not notice anything

SunderGoldmane

Time loop will let you get as dark or as light hearted as you want without consequences. But also you can only write the beginning of a time loop so many times, I think maybe three chapters would be reasonable and with increasing deviation of details, small stuff like waking up in someone else’s bedroom each morning and then going to “work” at someone else’s job. Like what if it’s a form of reality sitcom? Perry has a crush on the Manitian teacher and goes to work at subway after school where Solaris (or mr. Sunshine) is an affable manager.

Prana

You could inspire yourself with the elder scrolls and make your god really chaotic and absolutly nonsensical make him change people into animals two hours of the day force others to enact some theatre plays without knowing the script...

Adam McGuire

What if the game show was based off the Price is Right. The Chaos God is Bob Barker. Perry ends up winning both showcases.

bradyman50

An alternate reality where no one has powers and lives a sitcom kind of life, but with increasingly weird things starting to happen. Perry can break free when he somehow gains enough xp to level up (probably by killing something wacky that shows up) and everything outside stops existing for a bit. Then instead of trying to fight the chaos god, he just sets up some sort of surveillance system, and holes up somewhere with the girls and some popcorn and watches it all unfold. Maybe the chaos god join s him and they chill for a while, watch the big finale and then wake up the next morning with an appropriate t shirt and everything back to normal. Probably with everyone fully remembering what happened but moving on just fine since it's the fifth time its happened or something

Cuban Pete

MXC mixed with Jeopardy with a time loops so the God of Chaos can finish making an entire season in record time

Fervent Fiend

I’m not sure which decision is better, but having a theme song that follows everyone around in the background, that only Perry seems to notice and clue into could be interesting.

SunderGoldmane

Also, if you take a sitcom approach you can write a kind of parody of your actual story. Maybe it revolves around a kid named brenden believing everyone’s a super hero. That they should be living a better life than working at subway. Maybe in this sitcom world all the super powers are being actively drained and this sitcom thing is just a side effect of keeping everyone docile?

Cory C.

Was breaking the comment field with your username deliberate or just a happy accident?

Kabir Kumar

time loops are not fun to read, because they don't have stakes.

Nef Mccrimmon

Supers viallians and baddz playing gameshow hosted by mr rogers

Silver

Not so much an idea as a modifier to another. Everyone's power is on the fritz and is unreliable. If part of perry's power is suppressing his magic, that could intermittently fritz out and he be in danger of too much magic power. Which is probably a bad thing

Patrick

Everyone is stuck acting out life like normal, but it is a musical. Singing and dancing all the time.

Andreas Finn

I mean obviously some kid with megalomania triggered with powers to back it up. Gameshow and timeloop are good ideas but they feel very episodic unrelated to the story. One idea I have is that some Isekai nerd wanted fantasy adventures and somehow pulled Franklin city to the MCs mom's world. So instead of Franklin city trying to survive waves of crabs they have to survive the the horrors of current fantasy world or maybe it's wild enough to travel in time to past. Double grandma!

Quinn

Time travel. Perry from the future messed something up and perry from the past has to fix it. Both the future and the past are in the bubble

PlasmaticPi

Game ideas for the gameshow: Scavenger hunt but some of the things worth points include heroes with certain types of powers, the corpses of people the god doesn't like such as ones with jobs that represent order like police or safety inspectors, a virgin that has been sacrificed, someone else's wedding rings or underwear, traffic lights, stop signs, a police badge, ashes made from burnt paperwork, a Rabi's left foot(yes Rabi, not rabbit, cause its more chaotic), a super's cape, a celebrity's sex tape, money stolen from a bank, and any kind of bionic body part. A game of freeze tag but everyone is it, you are literally frozen, either in time or in lets say jello, and can't be unfrozen, and you win by tagging the most people before time is up, with bonus points for tagging people at a time where they are frozen in uncomfortable poses. Red light green light but using actual traffic lights, and you are being chased by tickle monsters. The floor is lava but the floor actually is lava, and a certain number of people need to make it to a certain spot in the city. And finally a battle royale where the winner gets to fight the chaos god, but if they beat the chaos god they get to make one request to it before it leaves, which everyone wants.

PlasmaticPi

Also a prize for some of the gameshows should be awakening or being given superpowers, magical or tide related.

Dash of Salt

This but it resets for /everyone/ if /anyone/ dies, and the only way to escape is to ensure that not a single person in the entire city dies for any reason for the entire day. So each super is stuck on the escort mission from hell, healing the sick, detaining the -cidal, homi and sui alike. With increasingly bizarre and unethical steps taken to make it another hour forward and find out what piece of infrastructure is destined to collapse, or whose heart is about to give out. Could see it being either a situation where most aren't aware, but it might be more fun if everyone was aware with people required to make the call of shame if they were responsible for the last reset, with people blamed and punished for failing to fess up.

Dash of Salt

Responded to a comment with this above, but reposting as a standalone for visibility: A death triggered time loop but it resets for /everyone/ if /anyone/ dies, and the only way to escape is to ensure that not a single person in the entire city dies for any reason for the entire day. So each super is stuck on the escort mission from hell, healing the sick, detaining the -cidal, homi and sui alike. With increasingly bizarre and unethical steps taken to make it another hour forward and find out what piece of infrastructure is destined to collapse, or whose heart is about to give out. Could see it being either a situation where most aren't aware, but it might be more fun if everyone was aware, with people required to make the call of shame if they were responsible for the last reset, with people blamed and punished for failing to fess up.

Derek Engols

A super triggered from a nightmare, bringing everyone into it, being a dream-like state people are being shifted in context fast enough that as they "wake up" they're thrown into a different part of the city, subsequently resetting their awareness of the dream. We find our rival waiting in an infinite line trying to get paperwork for some ridiculously mundane permit before finding the gameshow district. After this is resolved everything's got some influence from it still. Someone was a game show host for a couple days and still talks like it involuntarily.

Findell

The Void should just be his grandmans version of the set of spells he used to setup his lair.

LordDark

Gameshow is: The King of Franklin. Everyone is caught in the same time loop, so no silly memory resets, and if they die they will just be back the next day. The only way to get out is to be the only person/team standing on the tallest building(left standing) at the end of each day. People who win will no longer be in the time loop. The whole time the game is going on five large ... entities are sitting outside the dome giving dares contestants where all of the people hear everything they say. Example: Hey Perry I dare you to tell heather about that time you slapped a kick me sign on her back. Hey Heather I dare you to tell Perry about when you had all your friends spread the roomer that he put cameras somewhere in the school.

AssaultPenguin

If there is a time loop it should vary at least a little each time. It wouldn't be a chaos god otherwise. Variations could be as small as one molecule shifting positions or as large as turning off gravity. If you want to be extra spicy the chaos god dials the Tide up to eleven for a day, or even for the entire time.

Ed Je

Make it into an iseaki-type gameshow, starts with an intro from the chaos god, given a quest to defeat a demon lord. Due to space-time shenanigans, everyone, including those inside Franklin city all arrive in the game at the same time. The game is caused by an edgy teenager's isekai trigger that is compounded by the chaos god. Added bonus would be to give everyone a system, which messes with/adds functionality from the game into Perry's interface causing his powers to malfunction, like level ups that break his own system due to insufficient causal energy.

Frederic Vincent

I find it just so cool when you see one of your favorite authors commenting on another of your favorite author’s posts!

Cyrus McEnnis

Whatever it is, or what happens inside, Plaguin needs to be right about it being a black hole.

Cyrus McEnnis

Also, a gender reversal field might be fun >.>

Zachary Weenig

Ok so as before it matters if its a Chaos God(something intrinsically tied to humanity) or an Eldritch God(something that has no idea what humanity is and vice versa.) Both can be very interesting. Chaos God - Sees several different alternate realities. Knows of the existince of TV Tropes and decides to randomly pick several Tropes and make them a reality in the time bubble. This could fit in well with an ever changing time loop via a less crazy "Dark City"-esque theme. Time just natural resets at midnight and the tropes get shuffled. No one dies, and ALMOST noone remembers except for one or two people. Eldritch God - has no f'in idea whats going on, or who these little insects are, but is wondering why they are making shapes that spell out words, and keep calling its name with perfect success. How do bugs even do that. The multi demensional God just got here, but has always existed here at the same time due to dimensional shannanigans. The Eldritch God is really interested in all this and decides to do some research. Easiest way to do this is to take a portion of itself "dress up" as some of these insects. Observing and learning how they work. Seeing whats inside them etc. Its not really evil, but does a lot of damage just because of what it is. Also due to said dimensional shenanigans, it reloads its experiment every day.

David Burchfield

I really like the idea of combining as many of these crazy ideas as possible. So first off it is actually a black hole that was used as raw material / basis for creating the field making Plagius correct this winds up being important at the climax. Second there is a time loop and if anyone (maybe low threshold of 10 or something instead) dies in the city it resets. Third there is a ninja warrior but with lava style obstacle course / natural disaster thing going on and the supers need to save everyone. Fourth there are a limited number of resets so it is not an infinite time loop. Fifth the god thing provides random commentary, snarky taunts, and occasionally changes the rules and focus bringing in other game show tropes, (fear factor, vote the person off the island, trivia, ect) while everything else is going on.

Jeanean

No idea what exactly is happening, but it would be cool if there were some kind of Illusion and Mind effect that makes it extremely difficult to identify people and tell who is who, allowing some interesting team-ups. (This could be paired with the gameshow idea.) Another idea would be an effect that "shuffles" people at random intervals. Basicaly, every second, a certain number of random people across the entire city exchange their locations, causing absolute chaos as people end up in places they really shouldn't be at, or experiments (of the living sort) get free. Combine that with some kind of survival scenario, or a fight that requires largescale teamwork to end the situation, and it could become quite interesting and chaotic. Maybe make it so that there is some kind of controlling entity in the middle that is powerful enough that only someone like Solaris could defeat it in a head-on confrontation. (when they go 1v1) But because it knows that those people could defeat it, it "marked" them, causing them to get swapped away all the time, taking them out of the picture.

Joe ?

My idea is a time loop story where the chaos God is the MC. He erased his own memory and scaled himself down for laughs and a good story. He's also the evil overlord ruling the city, that must be stopped at all costs Maybe he does standard loop MC stuff. Romances a few characters, gets to know the deep dark history of a few interesting side characters, and gradually powers up to the point where he can finally take on the big bad, himself.

Vincent DeLong

Bizzaro world Everyone switches gender and powers and doesn't remember except for Perry. Perry now has to deal with crushes on his male teammates who think he is an imposter of Patricia/Perry.

Gaunt

I dont feel that time loop fits the story. Game show is a chance for a weird wildcard to try to take over the city. Maybe something like a miniturization field, a "Honey i shrunk the" supers bit

Zack

What if the chaos god isolated the world to do their own weird “what if” episode. And the what if was the heroes are now all the villains and the villains the heroes. The lines blur a little for a lot of the people we’ve met so there could be some fun “huh still an asshole” moments. Also cause Perry is a pretty amoral hero with one of each as parents his spot would remain essentially unchanged even as he tries to figure things out!

Adam Roundfield

It obviously involves cake, possibly more than one cake, or maybe just one cake of ineffable size...

LucasTheLost

How about we make the other contestants be the chaos god's lieutenants, in all their hideous, over-tentacled glory? The game isn't over until all his underlings find romance. Just to make things worse, none of the LT's want anything to do with it... they're only playing because boss said so. Plot twist, each one has something they'd really enjoy doing with their human partners that would lead them to form some kind of a bond with a human contestant... but they're beings of chaos, it could be literally anything... painting hummingbirds with different colors of blood (from all manner of chaos beasts). Skinning cats. Ssinging old Brat Pack songs to inanimate objects. And almost none of them know what that thing might be.

LucasTheLost

"You get a tentacle, and you get a tentacle! Everyone gets tentacles!!!"

LucasTheLost

So... dying over and over again... how many peopledi you think will trigger? Maybe... ALL OF THEM?!

Jordan

Failed Magnum Opus that was ment to separate the city from the reality were it was in danger and protect it in its own pocket dimension.

Warper6

Perry's future son's crazy ex time traveling for a booty call but overshot. The time police are hunting her so she's using the black sphere to hide.

Carl Mason

Time loop "reality" TV show where everyone is aware of the loop but time only progresses once you guess the correct lines and consequences(/punishment) occur and remain when you dont. The dome drops once the episode is played out completely and correctly without mistake.

Carl Mason

But you are twice as likely to stub your accidentally on media equipment.

Edwin Canarte

The chaotic god is hungry and forcing everyone to cook for him

Articbezercer

Extremely cook off you please him enough no vaporizing city I agree with Edwin

Ethan Hand

Idea: the flood suddenly started again but the city can’t access the outside world or when they attempt to they think they have but they really haven’t. Stuff like paradox saying I gotta talk to you later then ending the call with leader guy (whose name I cannot remember right now).

Stephen E Wilson Jr.

Anime universe inside the void. Everyone appears drawn because chaos god . Everyone gets a doppelganger of the opposite alignment (and abilities?) expect Perry because mimic essence. Everyone must tag there Doppelganger before a giant visible count down in the sky ticks down. If you don't tag your doppelganger it because the real version at the end of the countdown. Evil version obviously want to exist so chaos ensues. Chaos god wants Perry doing perry attunement stuff because it's fun. Wants Perry to worship him. The secret is the summoning ritual that summoned the chaos god was supposed to fail but they used a material effected by Perry and he froze the summoner and ritual in time before it failed. Disrupt the ritual and banish the chaos god.....or did you? Dramatic laughter.
