My artist sent this to me right as I was leaving for vacation and I didn't check my work email until just now!Anyway, this is for book 3 of Wake of the Ravager,  Which you may not have read. Book 3 covers a lot of 'business transactions' between calvin and the good people of...I forget the country. I think he conquers it at some point. It ends with Uleis getting turned to glass and a jerk-face getting his fingers bitten off, and Calvin learning some valuable lessons. If you haven't checked it out yet, it's on Royal Road, chapter 121-211. It'll be down in maybe 2 months. For those of you that HAVE read it, Whaddya think of the cover? This is a stylized depiction of one of the Diocese who didn't get along so great with Calvin and his inter-country train. Any tweaks that need to be made? Honestly I think it's the best thing I've ever commissioned from this guy and I'm absolutely thrilled to put this on a cover.

Love it! Big fan Has anybody brought up the ooze weaver plot hole? Technically all the ooze weavers are princesses since the chief is the biggest female(that’s how I read it). Kidnap for the entire female populace for mega-Body gains.

As someone who just recently tore through chapters 121 to 200 plus somewhere yes this is cool

Each of your stories get better and better, but WotR is still one of my favorites. If your last 2 tales hadn't been so good it would be in first place. Thanks for the reminder, it might be time to reread

Van234

Cool cover, a bit generic with pyramids in the background. But I like it

Weeb Dealer

As soon as you mentioned it was from WotR I instantly recognized what part of the story it was from. The cover looks fantastic.

Nechochwen

Maybe have the pyramids be active instead of ruins?

Kote's chronicles

Been awhile since I read it, but I recall they used copper coils around their arms to shoot the lightning rather then holding actual lightning? Looks amazing though. Great colors

Enzo Elacqua

Its sick, but doesn’t the train run on some guy shooting lightning into it? So there should be no smoke coming out of it since it just runs on that. Also are you planning on finishing the story, or are you just working on editing everything first?

Enzo Elacqua

Maybe instead show some guys shooting some bolts into it to add to the whole magic feel. Also who is the artist, would love to see more of their work?

Macronomicon

Panjoool @ deviantart. also, yeas, planning on finishing, but editing first.

Macronomicon

yeah, i'm gonna have the guy spruce up the copper bracers a little bit, but not too much. it looks good as it is RN.

Findell

I dont recall them attacking the Train to be honest.

Macronomicon

I don't think they ever did, but it's got a lot of the elements that arc contained all in a nice package. lightning-weilding aztec god-kings, trains, implied violence. What more could you want?

Have you decided when you’re going back to Wotr yet. I’ve missed Calvin’s shenanigans. The conquerors the magic the fornication with beautiful princesses. I hope the story reaches a point where he gets Kala Ella and both Learners pregnant. Your writing regarding romance is very entertaining

Sweet art style! I enjoyed the idea that the world was kind of post-interstellar apocalypse/magitech; Perhaps the trains and pyramids could be tweaked to capture some of that?

Littleme02

Without context I wouldn't be able to place the image to the WotR. The train is an normal looking steam train not a magical electrical fueled monstrosity, I imagined some kind of huge induction motor on the from with glowing wires from the driver pumping power into it. Also wasn't the brazers around the arms some kinds of double layered copper coils so maybe they should be sparky as well. I like the background otherwise, the Inca temples are a little out of place mabye? Oh and the train track should be totally straight cleaving throu the forest, going around stuff is just inefficient

Deinos

I kind of like it, but also I don’t like the thing at that spot, make a better one.

It might be because I just read WotR 4 or 5 months ago, but my immediate thought on seeing this image was "Yoooo! WotR cover art!" ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
