I realize I didn't give enough information. We've got 2 solid 'stuck in the 70's' choices, and I wasn't really very specific about the prompt.Option 1: Perry and Heather argue over a map on a street corner while Nat repairs Boomer and Mass Driver hails a cab in spandex. 70's onlookers confused.Option 2: The crew marvels over a 1970's diner with meat while people gawk at their outlandish attire. Mass Driver is unimpressed, Chemestro sets aside the bread. Empty calories.Also, expect next chapter to be delayed, because this is eating into my work time. Apologies. Also, if you've got ideas about where we should go with the next arc, I'm taking suggestions in the comments. part of the reason I've switched gears to logistics work today is because I don't have a solid plan yet.Side note: Avorion is like the gummy ship builder from Kingdom Hearts on CRACK!

Post dragon arc? Hmm... Aside from some house cleaning with a completed essence table and putting a plan in place to deal with a society deprived of their trogking overlord if that's the route the story takes. I kinda figured we'd be going multiversal with Perry's recent subclass upgrades. Maybe trying to tease out the cause / source of the tide. Or perhaps all of his growing power and mucking about attracts some advanced multiversal/timeline civilization.

Also, wider world suggestion I saw by Jeff Casey, imagine an ocean voyage added to the world expiration, post tide pirate scenes? I could see Heather trying to pull rank against Perry for Captain spot on the ship while Nat subtly assumed control, again.

I feel like a family gathering is overdue. We haven’t seen how Nats parents are like with the twins and now that Perry is equal to his family I’d like to see them going on an adventure. Manita is an obvious vacation choice but it would be nice to see them going across the sea to Japan or Europe.

I’m going to say the next part of the arc should be the race to secure as many resources as possible. Perry sends swarms of drones into Manita, Tyrranus conquers a lot of Earth, both of them sabotage each others plans. Demons invade as vengeance for Perry’s betrayal.

Next arc, post-tyrannus: Problems with the Manita expansion, further complicated by the war demon taking umbrage with being used by Perry, and making an already tenuous situation even worse. Also Gerome comes back out of pettiness and a fit of pique.

I'm seeing a ton of great ideas, and both covers sound awesome. I'd really like to see Perry somehow angering and frustrating the demon lord of war so much that he temporarily banishes war from earth or maybe Perry tries to ban him with an overpowered banishment that temporarily accomplishes the same affect. Either way, violence would be impossible on Earth for a few days with comedic results.

Fun with boxes! So many boxes... My ships tend to end up a lot more slab-like than the skinny-shoot-me-in-half invitations floating around the sky by default. I also like armor, and when your ship is kinda cube-ish you can haf relatively large sheets of armor coving your important bits. And now I want to reinstall.

Hmmmm, now that there's portals to hell...what if the heavens were next? And what if they decided that a limit had been reached and the unlimited growth (a la some slight of the gods or realm damage or whatever) needed to be addressed? Could also have some kind of heavenly geass/slavery arc. Or....what other realms are out there?

Also if the heavens thing happens couldn't the helper angel (can't remember her name atm, sorry!) Officiate the wedding as a way to stop the heavenly hosts? Maybe that's the grand finale and the search for materials/religious symbols for the wedding and fending off Tyrannus and Grandma Zauberer plots takes him around the world!

Why stop at earth? If the tide does weird things to earth, what about Venus, Mars etc.? Maybe some wandering tide monsters set up shop.

The return of the king! Take back Paradox’s homeworld! Positives - more fantasy shenanigans and also final confrontation with grandma over who should rule at the end (Paradox should nominate a UN type body and end the monarchy so he can keep hero’ing and stop grandma going back to her tyrant ways)

Next arc ideas? Well Perry absolutely needs to split Tyrannus’s attention. He is way too focused on taking Perry to pieces. He simply can’t let Tyrannus keep taking shots at him like he has been. That’s no way to win. That machine is a clear example of what happens if you let a mind like that focus on destroying you. I propose that Perry takes the initiative here and has him split the dragons focus by forcing him to defend his empire. Burn temple to the ground in a flash of nuclear fire. Shatter that road. (Perry doesn’t know it’s the heart of Tyrannus’s infernal economy but it’s still clearly important infrastructure) shit what else is vital for a functioning empire? Perry probably won’t condone the mass assassination of vital functionaries, generals, most useful Acolytes and general empire leadership even though it would probably be really fun. (Let’s pray for low attunment) Shit the empire is in high tide right now. The Tide is a temporary ally for him but a very potent one. He needs to leverage that the entire world is literally attacking Tyrannus. I’m sure Perry can find some way to make some of the problems that are popping up for Big T right now just so much worse. And expensive. The capital city has a prawn problem? Well now the prawns have shells thirty times harder than steel, are immune to magic, turn into undead when you kill them and your walls mysteriously blew up. “Because fuck you. That’s why” -Paradox Oops did somebody Paradox the Common Cold virus into a super weapon and let it loose in all of your cities? You’re going to have to deal with that. And fast. Keep the dragon hopping. Of course none of those things actually hurt Tyrannus but he can’t be everywhere and the time he spends coming up with a cure to your magically resistant superflu and immunizing his people is time he is not designing another rip your fucking soul out your ass machine. It feels like a worthy effort. We need Che Guevara Perry. Underground terrorist guerilla fighter. Empires most wanted! I’m not sure why Perry is being so civilized about this whole thing. He can’t really afford it. He’s only just scraping by. And it’s not like T can go after Perry’s family. Or his cities. That contract means if Tyrannus can’t find Perry he can’t attack him. Art of war Perry! Be Formless!

There is also the issue that Tyrannus has flunkies and Perry will have to do all his work himself, this plan would hurt Perry more than Billy. If he can find a way to target a persistent, spell effect to randomize crises in the Empire, it might work. Automate and conquer.

Perry has dealt with Gods and Dragons Fantasy end game complete For Sci Fi he needs to deal the an Invasion ( saving his home dimension counted ) and a migration to the stars ( or another Dimension ) to get humanity's eggs out of a single basket For Super Hero he needs to deal with the Big Bad ( Replicators checked off so maybe the Prawns next ) For Harem, Natalie has ( shapeshifter, tsundre, gamer, prince, wizard, legacy super, etc ) so only needs a 🔲seductress 🔲a "no emotions" ( please not Chemestro ), 🔲( soul / mind ) linked harem member, and a 🔲maternal type to complete her harem 😍🥰😈
