I got rid of the bottle and made it obvious Perry was holding the sword, added the gold harness, and the goggles, and the evil magic above Perry's head.  I think he also added the highlights above Billy to make it easier to see him.Whaddya think? If i give the go ahead, the artist'll start on the detail work.

Also, is it not obvious he's giving Billy a friendly pat on the side? A lot of people asking what he'd doing with his arm.

Gotta say the dragons left arm looks a little derpy and the lower jaw looks disproportionately larger than the top

Here's the thing - up to now I didn't picture Billy as a nerd. Now, I do, and I think it makes the story even better.

I considered it, but I decided not to because it's more important for it to be recognizeable as a sword. if it was pure black, it might not be obviously a sword at first glance.

Yeah I didn’t get what he was doing with his hand. I think my mind reads Billy’s face as being even with Perry, and since his head is curled forward, I expect his chest to be further back out of reach.

Only thing id say is maybe give perry a bigger/more flowing lab coat, could be cool! otherwise awesome!!!

Looks nice though Perry seems more likely to use a nuke to kill a dragon than a sword or maybe a rod from god. But I like the implied threat from both of them.

The goggles seem a bit shiny compared to the rest his face but I can see how they might need to be that way for visibility’s sake, other than that it looks pretty good.

Maybe have Will do a thumbs up with the hand he's not swiping with? To strengthen the both outwardly friendly but planning on stabbing each other in the back vibe. As is if you focus you can see the vibe, but it also looks sort of like williams just attacking and roaring instead of smiling while setting up the back stab. Also maybe the google strap should be a darker color as a solution, otherwise it looks great!

You know I always knew in my head that Perry was a normal white guy, but in my heart of hearts I always pictured him as having some slightly magical Manitian features. Like a slightly elvish/fae/otherworldly look.

He's been repeatedly described as having inhumanly vibrant green eyes and cheekbones that're slightly too sharp to look normal. Also, he's absolutely ripped under his clothes, but isn't bulky to the point you can see his musculature when he's wearing long sleeves and pants (basically he's a "sleeper build").
