The funny thing is that when the story started Shen Yuan was 20+ years old and Luo Binghe was 14. But now, because he has been dead for 5 years that age gap is almost gone. They both should be around 25 years or more. So Luo Binghe thinks that he is in love with a much older man when they both are around the same age. Who knows, maybe they will actually communicate with each other now that they are older 🥲

Another roller coaster set of chapters! I’m glad your friends gave you the chapters in a set like this, because I was worried they would be mean/mischievous and say to stop reading after the self destruction chapter so you would be stuck with the cliffhanger until the next video. Seems like LBH and SQQ are more alike than they realize. They both passed up on some chance to explain themselves on the belief that the other would never believe them. You make a good point about this kind of ‘needing to happen’ though. Idk if this specific event was needed, but I do think something extreme needed to happen in order for them to both realize that things aren’t what they seem. Need a pole to vault over that wall between them, or maybe a storm to blow away that massive fog of misunderstanding. Possibly both 😅 Thanks for another great video!

Shen Qingqiu showing he is a master of distraction...at least in the form of tossing a cat into the foray 😂 But yes, 7Seas choices for where to end chapters definitely caused more than one eyebrow raise at how senseless their way was. Liu Qingge wins the award for entrances with that rescue for Shen Qingqiu 🤣 You definitely didn't expect the title Death to refer to Shen Qingqiu 🤣 Mo Xiang Tong Xiu at it again with these rollercoaster moments. But Luo Binghe's grief is definitely like a blunt knife repeatedly stabbing you 🥺 Also could you have imagined the Ning Yingying we met in the donghua would be the one to reveal Shen Qingqiu's grief over Luo Binghe, and help clear up that misunderstanding at least? 😅 And we get a glimpse of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's favoured method of telling the reader about events that have occurred: gossip spread between some characters/bystanders. I feel like it is a good method for telling the reader rather than having to show such events, especially as a way to show that time has passed and life has continued on. But I also love how we suddenly jump to these people and their story. It leaves the reader almost as disorientated as I imagine Shen Qingqiu would feel having just "come back to life". Finally, finally, the reveal of the purpose of the damn mushroom! It's definitely a creative way to save Shen Qingqiu, and one I don't think I'd ever have guessed. The names of the demons definitely feels like more shade being thrown at Airplane Shooting Towards The Sky for his nomenclature of items and people mentioned in the original work 🤣 But it is also a fun little aside of worldbuilding to reason the naming convention of demons is linked to their hierarchal society. And we now have the mention of Luo Binghe's "heavenly pillar"!!! Definitely the first thing that pops to mind when you've just been resurrected and are imagining your ex-student's name being different if his life had started out in the demon realm...Certainly not an eyebrow raising moment for Shen Qingqiu on his utter obliviousness 🤣 Sha Hualing really is the character that blatantly shows Shen Qingqiu to be anything but heterosexual. Not just because he forgot about her either. First time they met his focus was on the fact that she turned up in bare feet. And now one part of his focus is on the length of her fingernails! Your outrage at Shen Qingqiu thinking Liu Qingge might be asexual or impotent made me laugh. Definitely agree that Liu Qingge being unbothered by the succubae feels a lot like the kettle calling the pot black on Shen Qingqiu's part. Also love the comparison you made between Liu Qingge and Monty Python's Sir Galahad 😆 These three chapters have really been such a rollercoaster! Once again Mo Xiang Tong Xiu proving to be the queen she is 🥰 That image of Shen Qingqiu saving Luo Binghe is so heartbreaking 🥺😢

Honestly, it was pure luck - Raky on Patreon gave me all the chapter pages, but I organized them based on the sections that were 30-40 pages in length, so the fates were looking out for me, apparently! But I'm really happy as well! And yessssss, both LBH and SQQ thinking the other won't believe them -- it really makes you want to *facepalm* right?! I think at this point, if SQQ hadn't self-detonated, he wasn't going to talk to LBH for fear it's only make things worse...and that...would have made things worse! And yes, a storm to blow away the Massive Fog of Misunderstanding would be FANTASTIC! Because SQQ needs all the hints he can get! :P Thank you for the comment and the kind words!

Yeah, I’m still wondering why chapters and “parts” start in different places, but I’m starting to get used to it, so there’s that at least! Liu QingGe is going to MAKE HIS PRESENCE KNOWN hahaha, especially when he’s rescuing his certainly-not-friend Shen QingQiu! ;) This chapter set WAS a roller coaster! I was FLOORED and elated with Ning YingYing’s character growth; she’s such a wonderful character now! But I did NOT anticipate HER being the one to clear up this issue about if SQQ was grieving over LBH. Yeah, at least THAT is cleared up, hopefully! I do feel for LBH having to watch SQQ die in front of him, especially if he loves him! The “Gossip” nature of MXTX’s storytelling will always make me think of MDZS, because I think it was used best there, but it originated here! And I love how we have to question the “reliability” of that narration and exposition as well, because of course we do with MXTX! And yes, what a way to bring SQQ back!! I would NOT have guessed that was the mushroom’s purpose! But it IS an insanely clever use of it as a narrative tool and makes perfect sense! The fact that Shang QingHua came up with 6Balls is….humorous to say the least! Also…Shang QingHua/aka Airplace giving LBH a massive…pillar…and that’s what SQQ thought when first resurrected. Okay, SQQ, okay. SQQ would do wonders running a nail salon, and Sha Hualing would be his first customer! SQQ’s knowledge of LQG definitely makes me feel there’s a lot of men in this story that may be oblivious to their sexual orientation…but maybe that’s just me! ;) MXTX is a QUEEN and one of my favorite authors; her way of writing is a roller coaster and I just love it! The twists and turnssss! But yes, SQQ hugging LBH and the confusion and angst? She knows how to take the (blunt) knife and grind it in there, doesn’t she? Thank you for the comment and kind words!
