*TAG TEAM HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

If you'd asked me what would be on my Berserk BINGO card, Zodd and Guts teaming up to battle a demonic thunder cloud would NOT be on it! But here we are! The crew is SO close to getting that ship to head out to Elfhelm, but Ganishka is not going to make things easy for them!

Meanwhile, Griffith is orchestrating yet another move on the chess board to gaining control over Midland and things just seem to be falling perfectly into place for him, don't they? Oh, and Farnese takes a major "leap" in her journey towards being a magic user! So proud of her these last few volumes!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

1:44:14 Yes that is the moral of the story. You can do horrible things and get everything you want as a result of those horrible things. Its social commentary. Miura wants you to look at our real life reality through this lens and be disgusted by those in power. For me, Griffith isn't just a character in Berserk. I see him everywhere in real life (metaphorically). I predict the forces of good will be able to stop Griffith. That is how I predict the story will end. But it will definitely not be a happily ever after clean conclusion. My guess is that there are going to be major costs, major sacrifices and not even a total victory. Then hopefully, following the spirit of Berserk and Miura, people in real life stop allowing horrible people to do horrible things and get everything they want.

Well, today I baked some banana bread! It turned out great! Not to much to add to this volume’s discussion as it was pretty straightforward. That team up with Zodd is a fan favorite panel! In this volume that is just one of many fantastic panels! Btw, the scene with a naked Farnese is a detail that may have gotten lost in time. Schierke has a balm called Femme Fatale that she is applying to Farnese’s skin. It is a drug that dulls the sense and heightens being able to sense spirits. So, yeah, a boobie quota maybe, but it does have an explanation. That panel with Schierke flying with Farnese is another great piece of art! Fave! I can understand your frustration with the stagnation of Griffith’s character. When he is on the page, you want to go back to what Guts is doing! When you get a bite of the story at a time, it can frustrating. It does flow better if reading straight through I feel. This is also a very long arc. Silat❤️ Rodrick❤️ I love both of them! Another volume in the rear view mirror! Volume 33 Talley Ho! See, I did keep it short! 👁️👁️👁️FEB Spoilers ⬇️👁️👁️👁️ More magic, less gore! Volume 32: 3? I think I got em all….

Oohhh, nice! I honestly love banana bread – though Zucchini is my favorite! But yes, this volume had a lot going on, just very action-oriented! But the Zodd team-up panel is really great! That note about the Femme Fatale balm is interesting and at least there’s an explanation! Thank you for noting that; I’ll have to bring it up in a future volume! But YES – the panel of Schierke and Farnese is so sweet and beautiful! I really loved that moment of Schierke teaching her and Farnese making progress! We love to see it! Thank you for humoring my frustration with Griffith – I think if we got a little more info on some of the apostles, I wouldn’t dread going back to his portions so much, or at least some more with Charlotte and Anna – but I’m always ready to leave Griffith’s smug storyline and return to Guts & Co, which is infinitely more exciting to me! But yeah, it’s INSANE how long this arc was in real time for you all – I cannot IMAGINE waiting chapter to chapter for this series….but I guess I’ll be there soon enough! ;) And yes, Roderick and Silat are such great characters! I enjoy them as well! Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! TALLY HO TO VOLUME 33! :3
