*CHAOTIC HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

OH, so Volumes 5 and 6 were funny and all, but THESE two volumes WIPED the floor with me! I haven't laughed this long in a while reading anything, so this series DELIVERED and I'm so excited to talk about them with you!

It will be hard waiting for Volumes 9 and 10 to get serialized into English Volume 5, but I know if it's anything like this set, the wait will be worth it! Thank you for reading and watching this series with me! It's been such a blast!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

I don't normally comment but I wanted to thank you for introducing me to this series - it was so fun to watch it and then watch your reaction. I haven't watched comedy anime / manga before so I'm really glad I found this series! I think my favorite chapters / episodes are the ones that focus on any of the characters backstories. Also, off-topic but Kumatani reminds me a little bit of Aki from Chainsaw Man.

Loved the review and discussion! I love the specificity of the various things the mangaka continues to call-out throughout: cat haters, people eating messy stuff in other people’s cars, etc. Loved meeting Nusumi, definitely a great addition to the cast. But I have to say that the tattoos look to me like they are drawn by someone who fundamentally doesn’t understand why someone would get a tattoo. 😂 Based on Nusumi’s style otherwise – he would have had much better ink. I think Kikaku is still my favourite of them all – unhinged in the most delightful way. And all of this needed way more Tadano! This has been an excellent journey and I’m looking forward to the next entry, whenever that may be. Looking at the release schedule of ENG volumes vs originals, maybe winter-spring next year? Thank you for the these reviews and taking a chance on a 'comedy' series! 💙

Ahhh, thank you so much for the comment and kind words! That honestly means a lot to me! I’m so glad that you all enjoyed the series and the manga was definitely a fun surprise to get into! And YES, the character backstories and how they all tied into their “present day” attitudes were well done and wow, I had not considered Kumatani like Aki, but you’re so right! Of all the characters, I could see Kumatani fitting into the CSM world the easiest, haha!! Thank you again!

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words! The mangaka definitely takes a lot of “frustrations” and builds upon them through their comedy in this series! Nusumi is SUCH a good addition – of COURSE his tattoos would be “off” as well to mesh with the aesthetic of this series, right?! Kikaku is SO unhinged but like with Uramichi, there’s a part to him that you just WANT to learn more about – in a “delightful way” as you put it! But yes, I really want more Tadano in future volumes - I know there’s a “spin off” series with her boyfriend, so maybe that has her more prevalent there! *scratches chin* Thank you so much, again, and I definitely will be keeping my eye out (probably next year like you said) for Volume “5” that’ll have volumes 9-10 in them, since 10 just came out in Japan! 😀 I definitely hope that more comedy series get onto the channel in the future! ^^
