Yes, yes, yes I would love a three way with SQQ/LBH/LQG!

I was actually pleased with Luo Binghe for asking if sqq was okay and saying let’s stop. I think he be upset if told it wasn’t working. I was less pleased with the scene with the others coming back. This is a trope (not the best) where two characters are in a compromised position one is concerned about being caught and the other is not. They continue and the consent is dubious before both parties confirm being in to it. It’s featured in a lot of danmei now that I think about it. I don’t know if sqq confirms being into it. However, I think they should’ve moved, or paused. Yeah I don’t like how mxtx keeps bringing up the abyss like for all intents and purposes Luo Binghe never brings it up anymore. He asks nothing about it and sqq never tells him anything. So they’re in this state were it’s just never resolved in my opinion and sqq agonizes about it without communicating. I don’t ship liushen by itself, I prefer variants of this ship.i think they could also have a communication issue (tsun x tsun) but that’s not a problem exclusive to them. I also realistically they would last longer if they managed to get together and I think sqq would have to take the lead on that, I can’t imagine what a break up would look like. Bingliushen is objectively chaotic and I love it as a crack pair. It’s on the level of QiuRong for me. The look good together. It’s hilarious. A little sexy. It’s crazy. BUT. It would never happen. I could never imagine it actually happening outside of fanon.

Yes! Polyamory for the win! SQQ has two hands after all! ^.^ I did get around to reading this spicy chapter before you posted the video, and agreed with your assessment of their progress when it comes to intimacy. While reading it I remember thinking that it was like watching them take one step forward only to take one step back right away. I will always be amused that LQG got so flustered at the possibility of the love prediction being about him, and how absolutely unflustered he was by the succubi attempting to distract him with the sexy XD (I don’t think he was feeling jealous of LBH or anything in this chapter because I’m pretty sure the possibility of him being a potential rival didn’t occur to him until after LBH got out of the abyss. Plus I’m pretty sure everyone else still thinks he’s dead at this point in the story) Thanks for the video! It was very enjoyable

How's that Lonely Island song go? "It's okay, if it's in a threeway?" :P Thank you for the comment! I'm glad you're on board as well!!

I am glad that there was LEGIT communication in this chapter set! I agree about the others coming back - that made me mad, especially when SQQ was like, “I’m not comfortable” and LBH was basically like, “I don’t care.” Like, DUDE. That’s NOT cool. They should have paused 100% in my opinion. And SQQ agonizing over the Abyss is really sad. I do like LiuShen and how SQQ could open him up (no…pun…intended) and how Liu could make SQQ communicate a little more honestly (because he’d have to). I do think that Liu could balance the relationship and put LBH into check, or at least make LBH’s craziness have a different target than SQQ. But yes, PURE CHAOS. Shhh, let me have this hope, Icy! We don’t know until the story is over! Thanks for the comment!

Polyamory for the win! Free!Iwatobi Swim Club prepped me for this moment, and I support it 100%! I really wish they could progress as a couple maybe without the sexual intimacy and just let them talk things out and get to a more comfortable space, first. I felt so bad for LQG thinking that the prediction could be about him! I really felt for his character - and yeah, that’s a good point about his thoughts on LBH! Thank you for the kind words and comment! I really appreciate that!

The Japanese cover for Volume 2 definitely makes me laugh. Really duping new readers into thinking the cover means something completely different. Especially with the gossamer fabric hanging down around them, creating a more sensuous feel...which just made me consider: what if that cover is from Liu Qingge's perspective/nightmare of what befell Shen Qingqiu's corpse in Luo Binghe's hands 🤣 I don't know if it's the translation but just using the term "capitulated" for the beginning of Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe becoming intimate in this chapter definitely makes a little red flag start to rise for me. It's the kind of word that definitely brings with it negative connotations in comparison to being a willing or enthusiastic participant in intimate relations. Shen Qingqiu, size-queen he is not 🤣 Also loved your expressions with how we immediately went into the full-on descriptive smut, and your shock that Luo Binghe isn't against switching dynamic. It was that that honestly made me start to like him a little bit more when it comes to their intimate moments, because it was Shen Qingqiu's choice and own feelings that he couldn't be the one on top. I would say though with the descriptions Bingqiu's intimate scenes are the least romantic/sensual for me. I feel like this is a part that especially shows the age, maturity, and life experience of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu at the time of writing SVSSS. Though I will say Shen Qingqiu finding a different position easier for him to take Luo Binghe's size is very realistic, as depending on each person's size certain positions can be more comfortable than others, and is certainly not something I've found discussed a lot. She Qingqiu certainly walked into that one by describing this time as "awful" 😆 Someone has probably explained but "laoshi" is a reverent term for a teacher. In Mo Dao Zu Shi a lot of characters refer to Lan Qiren as "laoshi" or "Lan-laoshi". Starting the chapter off like that helps the viewer realise that it's not from Shen Qingqiu's perspective, but without a footnote for "laoshi" it can be a tad confusing to new readers who may not recognise the term. Dismissive Liu Qingge is definitely one of my favourite Liu Qingge emotions 😂 And Shen Qingqiu seems to be having so much fun at his expense. Hard agree though on Shen Qingqiu having voyeuristic tendencies, but to be fair to him at this point in the story he hadn't fully detached from the idea of "these are characters in a novel" which would change your perspective a little on such things like the Madam teasing/flirting at a tsundere like Liu Qingge. Shen Qingqiu's red string of fate being cut made me think of two other reasons that Shen Qingqiu doesn't consider: 1) the red string is actual Shen Jiu's who no longer exists in this universe; 2) the red string connects to someone in Shen Yuan's original world, but after dying there is red string connecting him to someone in that universe was cut. Love the moment Liu Qingge hears the information given about Shen Qingqiu's future lover he immediately becomes intrigued. Especially considering he ticks all the boxes just like Luo Binghe. And at that time Luo Binghe was believed to be dead by everyone except Shen Qingqiu. Liu Qingge is definitely that meme of "Why are you running?!" 🤣 Shen Qingqiu just trying to be a bro, but it's back to the Shen Qingqiu who regularly made me want to shake him for being so darn oblivious 😂 Definitely not beating the allegations in my book. There are Bingqiu shippers and LiuShen shippers. I, like you, am an appreciator of the polygamous ship that is Luo Binghe, Liu Qingge, and Shen Qingqiu 🤣 The three together hit so many of my favoured tropes and seem like a better dynamic, in my eyes, than Shen Qingqiu only with one of them.

The Japanese marketers reallllly are duping them into it! OMG…what if it WAS from LQG’s perspective! That totally could be and now I feel even more for him! And yes, Capitulated? Not exactly a romance-inducing terminology. I really wish that SQQ would let LBH bottom – for his OWN safety! I was at least happy that LBH put it out there to be offered! Thank you for the description of Laoishi as well! That does help! I do love how SQQ loves to tease LQG, who handles it in the best way…to be teased more. That is a really good point to bring up that at that time in the novel, SQQ hadn’t quite gotten past the characters being those in a “novel,” which explains why he’s more likely to tease as well! Oooh with the red string of fate, I took it to mean it was Shen Jiu’s and was originally perhaps tied to LQY, but now has severed with SY taking over. I do like how ambiguous it was in this, leaving it to our imaginations…and fan fiction! ;) Poor LQG, ticking off all the boxes…except he’s not LBH. T_T But that was my favorite part of the chapter! I wish we could shake SQQ though, as well! I think that this is a rare exception where I could do SQQ with both LBH and LQG, but only if it’s both - it’s like Makoto x Haru x Rin for me in Free! If you were to compare another three! 😛Thank you for the comment and kind words!
