*JUMPING HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

The band is all assembled! So....now what?! Get a band photo, of course! While we're doing that, though, Bocchi has to come up with lyrics for their original song and our girl is struggling! Can she get the right advice on what kind of lyrics would be best for their band?!

This episode was SO GOOD, but then, so has this series been so far!

No Spoilers! Only music! I absolutely love the music in this show, so I'll be listing the songs we hear (only after we hear them, don't worry!), in case anyone wants to check out the music on their favorite streaming platforms. New ED! Sung by our resident loner bassist, Ryo (aka Mizuno Saku), which seems fitting since we got that nice Ryo segment in the last half of this episode. OP: "Seishun Complex" ( 青春コンプレックス, lit. "Youth Complex" ) - sung by Kita ED1 (ep 1-3): "Distortion!!" - sung by Kita ED2 (ep 4-?): "Karakara" ( カラカラ, lit. "Clatter" ) - sung by Ryo Yamada EP2: "8-gatsu o Yubiori Kazoeru Kimi to Machi de Deaeru Kakuritsu ni Tsuite" ( 8月を指折り数える君と町で出逢える確率について, lit. "About the Odds of meeting you in town, counting the days of August") - Sung by Alexandrism. Actually by Fuzzy Logic EP3: "Dakishime Magic" ( 抱きしめMagic, lit "Hug Magic") - by AKORINGO Bocchi's mini-songs: EP1: "Oshiire yori Ai o Komete" ( 押入れより愛をこめて, lit. "With love from the closet") EP2: "Cocktail no Uta" ( カクテルの唄, lit. "Cocktail Song") EP2: "Kaze Hike no Uta" ( 風邪ひけの唄, lit. "Song for catching a cold") EP3: "Double Kokurekishi Bocchi Hikigatari Version" ( ダブル黒歴史ぼっち弾き語りversion, "Double Dark Past, Bocchi Acoustic Version" ) EP3: "Sono Hi Haitta Shinjin yori Tsukaenai Dame Baito no Elegy" ( その日入った新人より使えないダメバイトのエレジー, "The Elegy of a Part-Time Worker Who Lost Her Identify to the Just-Arrived Newbie")

Yeah we finally hit the famous quote, “Abandoning your uniqueness is equivalent to dying”. Now I could proudly say that Ryo is my favourite. Also matching to the big development between Bocchi and Ryo, the new ED is sung by Ryo’s voice actor, Saku Mizuno.

Zeekutar The Immortal

so the girls mentioned that any anime with the Main girls jumping in the OP is god tier. A place further than the universe has the girls jumping in the OP and the ED :) Just sayin' :)

Also, Bocchi spinning upside-down in the credits is an homage to the end credits of Evangelion.

It just gets me any time I rewatch it! <3 Thank you for the comment!

romaniablack

YESSSSS THE GIFFFFFFF! Thank you!!! And Oohh, That makes more sense about the bookstore now that you explained it! Thank you for the comment and info - and that gif! :D

romaniablack

AHHHH That's right! It's been a hot second since I've seen the credits of Evangelion, so that makes more sense! What a connection to choose!

romaniablack

*gasp* I mean -- that is a great connection!! Thank you for the comments and pointing that out! Who am I to argue with such logic?! :D

romaniablack

That is so cool that they add in Ryo to sing the ED! And yessss, I LOVE that quotation! I just adore Ryo - I'm going to have a lot of fun cosplaying her at a convention I'm attending soon! :) Thanks for the comment!

romaniablack

Thank you so much for the comment and all this wonderful information about the songs!! The music is so great! And I love that Ryo is singing the ED now! It definitely feels like a great move, considering the Ryo focus this week! "With love from the closet" and "Song for catching a cold" are great! :D And the last one hahahaha!!! That title kills me! XD

KumiRei

That will be amazing, can we see the cosplay post right here??? Also don’t forget to grab some grass like Ryo is broken😆

romaniablack

Thank you! Yes! I definitely want to do either a video about the convention as a whole or just a review of it, but I will DEFINITELY be sharing some cosplay photos of Ryo and will need to search for that grass to grab! ^^
