*DARING HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

Noriko, Amano, and Coach Ohta make it to the Space Station Silver Star, where a fiery red head makes herself known and we find out VERY quickly how emotionally compromised Noriko may be...especially when it concerns her father's fate...and a mysterious mission offers a crazy reveal already!

This episode is SO intriguing and good! I can't wait to see where we go to from here! Let's talk about this one!

Loved the reaction and discussion! Another fun episode and we met some new colourful characters. Great to see your having a good time with the campy and dramatic elements of the show. And there’s plenty to dissect. “Maybe they will wear more clothes now that we’re in space?” I really snort-laughed here. 🤣 Also #WheresMyCoachDick 🤣🤣 Absolutely agree regarding all the ‘maximalist’ approach to the art and design. Especially love their use of All The Colours 🥰, frames are so much fun to look at and unpack. Also love the design of the space monsters – definitely see the Nightow connection with the fun mix of organic elements: feathers, hairs, claws, teeth, who knows what else, etc. I think maybe because I’ve consumed so much mecha/sci-fi content, time-dilation for me is always an immediate emotional shortcut. The idea that, regardless of the success or the failure of an action, there is the massive cost of human time that’s layered on top?! Delicious angst. Also why I love whenever a version of this comes up in Natsume in terms of the ‘perception of time.’ It’s a fun one to think about in that show, as well, how much of the different perception is maybe yokai ‘literally’ experiencing time differently because they are on a slightly altered plane of existence to the humans. Looking forward to next week! 💙

We're not beating the allegations with this one, Gunbuster fans. 😭

HAHAHAHA - I mean, it was a really funny moment to comment on if anything; the ridiculous nudity is fun to talk about but I'm glad the show has something to back it up behind that and I'm living for this series so far! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words – oooohhh, Episode 3 is going to be a TRIP! But yes, this episode was a lot of fun! I honestly REALLY enjoy when “Camp Meets Drama” because there’s a lot to talk about, usually! But yes, where is my Coach equity in the nudity realm? Just kidding, but if anyone needs to be shedding clothing? AHEM. I wonder now if Viktor from Arcane was inspired by him? Hm. I love the maximalist approach in the art and design department - there is so much color, which for a “mechanical space” show, I am pleasantly surprised by! And yes, the Nightow connection is so there - another reason I’m digging the show! “Delicious Angst” - some really find it tasty, eh? I was NOT expecting to see a connection to Natsume in this show of all shows, but hey, that just makes it cooler, right? Oohh, cannot wait for Episode 3! 😀

One of my favorite animes ever! Really hope you ignore the previous poll and watch the sequel.

As I mentioned this is my FAVORITE anime of all time and I can't recommend it to anyone because well that should be obvious. Lots of anime have fan service, but even those won't show a character swapping their legs like it's Basic Instinct. The show does have a plot, I promise this wasn't all a trick to make you watch softcore cartoon pornography.

I am LOVING the show thus far! Sadly, the poll was there for a reason and I'm sticking by Patreon's decision for now - maybe someday I can come back to Diebuster and the movie, though! Thanks for the comment!

HAHA "like it's Basic Instinct" - I hear you - honestly, having watched a *wee bit* ahead, I can say that I truly am loving this series and I cannot wait to talk about it more with you all - there is DEFINITELY a plot and so much more going on and I'm happy so far this is the most gratuitous fan service I've seen! :P
