*DADDY-DO, DADDY-DON'T HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

This episode, while seemingly harmless in comparison to the last few, just feels...OMINOUS to me, as Okarin settles into this new world line just long enough to realize some major changes and some new information about Amane! The question is...will his attempts to help Amane help the future? Or continue to decay a past that's slipping further from Okarin?

Oh boy, this was not the best episode for Okarin, I think xD But, he really shouldn't have gropped poor Ruka. As kind as Okabe's actions are, and they are, he is trying to help his friends, I think this episode also shows that they are, at least, a little bit selfish. He didn't only go back in time to help Suzuha, even though I firmly believe that was part of it, but it was also because his friend was leaving and he didn't want that. It's not a bad conflict to have, selfishness and selflesness like that. I loved getting a little bit more backstory on Okabe and Mayuri's friendship, they're so sweet. Seeing all the past experiments that the lab has made was hilarious. I sort of love how they're so not intuitive and they do such random things. When that smoke bomb went off I kept waiting for the fire alarm to go off and ruin the food, but that didn't end up happening... which was nice, I guess, so they could still have the food intact.

The moment that Kurisu is referring to when she says Im glad you thought of me as a dear companion refers to the moment in episode 9 where she is crying after the phone call and sits beside him and he refers to her as an important ally which also can be translated as a precious companion or dear friend. So I guess changing world lines to the no moe culture world line didnt change the fact that this moment happened between the two of them which is kind of sweet to know.

The satellite was shown at the start of the episode still on the building post world line change and then it disappears right before he sends the Dmail. Do with that info what you will but what an anxiety inducing turn of events. Where is nervously laughing t-shirt chan when you need her?

Gotcha! That IS good to know - we’ll see where this goes later in the series! Thanks for the comment!

Yeah, Okarin really “done goofed” this episode. And that’s a really good point to bring up that while helping his friends, it’s also selfish. But yeah, surely nothing bad will happen because of it! *nervous laughter* And yes, more on Mayuri and Okabe’s friendship! And yes, the “lab gadgets” are so fun to see! Makes total sense for teenagers creating them! XD And yeah, at least the food was saved! Yay! Thank you for the comment! Let’s see what we get next! XD
