The first two phases of the Hunter Exam have concluded, but we only get a short reprieve before the third phase begins and it's VERY enlightening in terms of getting character development with Killua and Nereto, specifically! Lots to talk about, so let's dive in, shall we?

About the red flag you talked about. I think it kind of shows that Hunter Association is kind of just an organisation that is not inherently good or evil? I mean anyone can try to became a hunter

Excellent points about Gon and Killua! It’s nice to have a relationship in this kind of series where our two boys trust each other so easily and can maintain the friendship without being constantly attached at the hip about it. Yeah, I had similar thoughts about Netero. Like, he’s looking down on Killua for his family’s line of work and the methods they use; meanwhile a bunch of people have died since this test started and they probably overhunted the heck out of that phase 2 area. Not to mention your points about who ends up in jail for murder and who doesn’t. Man does not have the moral high ground here. Gotta say though, I admire Killua’s plan. If he becomes a hunter and captures his family, then he’ll get a lot of money and they can’t hunt him down. And if he changes his mind and decides to be an assassin later then he’s taken out his main competition. It’s a win win 😝 Thanks for the video!

Oh yeah, I can see that -- it just -- reads as side-eye-worthy for me and I'll be keeping my eye on this organization and noting anything from here on out! Thanks for the comment!

Thank you so much for the comment and kind words – I love talking about Gon and Killua’s relationship! Yeah, my eye is on Netero for SURE after this episode set! But yeah, Killua has a win-win situation in play there, doesn’t he? What a young genius! Thank you for the comment!

when I see my comment I can see why I didn't write any comments when I had flu lmao because I definitely didn't explained everything I had in mind back then. But yeah, just from that 8 episodes you already watched Hunter Association does not seem like an organisation that main goal is doing good and being good. Like there are a lot different types of hunters and anybody can try to became one, no matter their background, morality or goals. I kinda sounds like hunters are just hughly specialised and strong mercenaries, workes and discoverers/explorers and aren't in anyway fighters for good world or anything like that. like they didn't mind people that participate in hunter exam killing each other (like Hisoka) and just straight up dying because of exam or sabotaging other participators (like Tonpa). It also seems that they don't care about their criminal background (Killua and his brother) etc etc etc. And they straight up let 12 y olds participate and became a hunter because why the hell not child soldiers or somethinggggg I just think a lot of people are used to see "main organisation" in battle shounen being something that aims for good (like in example heroes in BnHA) and when you start HxH it's like clashing with hard reality. At least from my perspective - in real world most big organisations and companies does not care about good or morality at all. Even Netero that seems like that good old grampa mentor figure seems he is not fazed at all by people straight up killing eachother under his eyes, like Hisoka killed that one dude in the beggining of phase one and Killua killed two guys on airship and they were just like "yeah there are three less participators whatever anyway there you have next task..." When I started HxH years ago that was probably something that caught my eye the most, like They Just Do Not Care.

Oh no, I hope you’re feeling better and over the flu; I’ve heard it’s nasty this time of year right now. And yeah, the association is really shady – I’m interested in seeing how the organization's decisions and involvement are laid out from here. I definitely agree with your note about big organizations in reality! And yeah, Agree with that on Netero 100%! Thank you for the reply!!
