Well, we go from crashing out to calibrated unhinged as Okarin convinces Moeka to help him track down FB -- the clues were there from the start, but lead to more questions than answers...and as we draw closer to getting back to the beginning as well as "crossing" the 1% threshold, Okarin is FINALLY realizing a major cost of his plans...*nervous chuckling*

First things first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JDQOvzFetxs Now into my comment… On my first watch I was just as incredulous at Mr. Braun being FB. When the show brought up that FB could be a woman I had this whole theory of how Kirisu was FB and how it made perfect sense because Amane always mistrusted Kirisu and said she would eventually betray the group and I thought maybe the reason for that was because she realized that to save Mayuri she would have to die herself and unlike the other girls she couldn’t accept that; so maybe while Okarin and her were getting closer and closer during this part of the story there was a ‘Future Kirisu’ running around undermining Okarin. We even had things like in this episode where Okarin says “we didn’t see any women that could have been FB” and we cut straight to Kirisu yelling at him. So I was fully convinced that not only Kirisu was FB but that she was going to be the big bad of the show and then suddenly Mr. Braun pulls a gun on Moeka and himself. And realized I wasn’t on onto anything but just fell for every misdirection the show threw my way. So yeah, I didn’t see that scene with Mr Braun coming. Anyway, Mayuri & Kirisu do give some Rei & Asuka vibes, to me it just speaks of how common the Kuudere vs Tsundere dynamic is. So the question now is, where’s the late coming pretty boy to take away Okarin’s heart?

AHAHAHAHA I feel that with the new magnet markers - that is so perfect! XD Thank you for that! Honestly, the fake out with Kurisu is so real! I thought it was Nae, because I was thinking of the twist of Amane working with someone as well - and Nae being so unsuspecting had me wondering if it was going to all be a horrific misunderstanding on Moeka’s part…but yeah, we were all fooled! I love the twist! The show still being able to surprise at this point is such a good thing - I love that about it and it only has me super nervous *chuckles with sweat* at what it’s going to pull in the last part of the series as a whole! AND SERIOUSLY! Ruka was as close as we’ve gotten to Kowaru…if we got a character like that in the final hour? I would be HERE FOR IT. Thank you for the comment!

This was a wild episode with crazy reveals. There are some details I want to clarify however. Kurisu didnt say that Okarin said to look out back in episode 1. She said that he approached her 15 minutes before and looked like he had something important to say. We have gotten Mr Braun's real name it's Tennouji san and Nae last name is Tennouji as well.

I think the moment of Mr Braun killing himself happens so fast that we don't get time to fully process how to feel about it on a first watch. I get why he makes the decision as jarring as it was. He has failed his mission to keep his role under wraps and so him being exposed puts him and Nae in danger and he says to them that just as how Moeka is expendable he is as well so Sern will eventually get to him. I guess apart of him didn't want to have a similar situation to what happens with Mayuri where they send people to kill him in front of his daughter and maybe he feels guilty now that Okabe has reminded him of Amane and her kindness. It's a dark moment but I get in the moment you look at it and you're like but why

Oh yeah, I will talk more about it in the intro for Episode 21, after I got the chance to watch the dub - I agree, in the moment, it’s not giving us a lot of time to process at first. Thanks for the comment!!
