Amazing lists of content! Rooting for Cherry Magic for 2026. 🥰 Also, this made me very interested in giving Land of the Lustrous a shot again. The whole list of commissions this year is just a remarkable collection – of course very happy Inu-Oh takes its true pride of place! But mainly I am very grateful to have had a chance to watch a whole bunch of wonderful films this year - some entirely new to me, some others I'd had on my (very) long to-watch list, some were a delight to revisit. Very pleased to have been able to watch literally every single commission this year! (Except one where I'd need to catch up with a whole bunch of the anime - I've saved it for later! 😆) Thank you again to everyone who commissioned in 2025. I am really looking forward to everyone’s commissions for 2026! 🥰

This video was so fun! I like most of the Korean movies I saw so far in my life but I hadn't seen 'Exhuma' so when I saw your reaction video to it I thought to watch it first on my own and ended up enjoying it a lot! As I did your reaction afterwards btw! I've also been wanting to watch 'Blue Giant' for the longest time and hearing you review of it here will probably push me to finally do it within the next few weeks lol As for recommendations (you might have seen some of them but nevertheless they all deserve a mention) : ENGLISH SPEAKING MOVIES - 'Pearl' (2022) that's, if you want to continue on your path of horror movies' desensitization! - 'Conclave' (2024) - 'Bugonia' (2025) NON ENGLISH-SPEAKING MOVIES - 'The Chronicles of Evil' (2015) - 'Concrete Utopia' (2023) - 'Bullet Train Explosion' (2025) And I haven't watched it yet but I already KNOW I'll love it and I think you'd like it a lot too, it just came out recently and is based on a manga: '10 Dance' (2025) Can't wait for the anime review video!

Oh, this kind of lists are always so much fun to see! Gotta be honest, I think I like the Chainsaw Man manga more than the anime, and that I understand it more than I do the anime. Not saying the anime isn't good, I think it's really fun and great and gives the proper weight to the cares and moments; but, well, there's just something about the written form, seeing it on the paper like that, that just speaks more to me. Yes! Land of the Lustrous is so good!!! One of my favorite manga ever, truly. I just managed to convince my brother to read it, and I'm so excited to see what he thinks of Phos' journey. Gah, seeing this list reminds me that I need to watch more movies, and there are so many that look amazing in your channel to go and explore! I think I'll make it a goal of mine for this 2026.

Rooting for you to be able to check out Blue Giant - the reaction is also absolutely top-tier. 🥰 And those are excellent recommendations!

Thanks so much for putting this together for us! I enjoyed hearing the summaries of the commissioned movies and added a ton of them to my watch list! Inu-Oh at #1 is absolutely no surprise, a truly magical and wonderful movie, which I'm thankful for getting the chance to see, and share with others as well, through following your content here!

Great list! I love end of year best of lists. You absolutely went through so much media this year. Now on to 2026!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it! And that's so interesting about CSM - I am definitely LOVING the manga and can't wait to get more into it! And Land of the Lustrous was just AMAZING!!! I hope that he enjoys Phos's journey as well! There's so many good movies out there and I can honestly say I enjoyed every one I watched this year! Thanks for the comment!

MY COMMISSION MADE IT TO THE TOP 5 MOVIES!!!! 😍 It was such an honor and joy to get you to watch Coherence; I'm still so happy you loved it so much, to the point that you want to rewatch it every fall!! 🥹💖 Join my specific niche of "can't stand classic slasher/gore horror but is a slut for mindfuck psychological horror you can overanalyze for years" 🤣🤝 I hope to never stop hearing you talk about it in the future! I can't promise any other commissions will live up to my first one lmao, but I look forward to doing more, whenever I can catch a slot actually open again 🥲

Thank you so much for the comment and the kind words! Cherry Magic will definitely be high up there for next year, I am sure!! And yeah, Land of the Lustrous…it’s HEAVVVVVYYY and mind-changing, but it’s also so good! I root for it! Inu-Oh is just my favorite! I just loved it and it set the stage to giving films a chance and I’ve learned so much from watching them this year!! Everyone who commissioned in 2025 treated me so well! I already am getting excited for the movies for February! Thank you so much for all your commissions this year; I loved them all so much! <3

I am so glad you enjoyed this!! Thank you!! This year was fantastic to being introduced to Korean movies! Exhuma was so fun! I really hope you get to see Blue Giant as well! Thank you for the recommendations - I actually have wanted to watch Bugonia, so that will probably happen soon on my own time! 😀 And those non-English movies sound so interesting! I think you’ll be happy to know (it will officially be announced for the February update video) that 10 Dance will be one that I watch for that month! I’m so excited! Thank you for the comment and the support!

romaniablack

Thank you so much for the kind words and comment! I really loved Inu-Oh so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the commissioned movies; 2025 was really gracious to me for those and I'm excited for what's to come next year!

romaniablack

Thank you so much!! There was so much that I got through - I'm happy I actually got to see them all, but YES! Onward to 2026!! Thank you for the comment!

romaniablack

YESSSSS, I loved that movie and it was one of the biggest surprises this year! Yes, AHAHAHA, I really love the idea of "slut for psychological horror to overanalyze" as a club to belong to -- you hit it on the head! XD Thank you so much for the commission and support! I know that I will keep enjoying this movie in the future and am so glad I got to watch it this year!
