Hey all, Sorry this had to all be in the link, but WOW, this movie was SO worth it -- I had so much fun watching and discussing -- as you can see with the 3-hour run time of this whole thing! When you talk about the movie as long as the movie is playing, you know it's good! What a bridge as we get closer to Steins;Gate Zero!

I can't believe you have so little faith in us that you think we'd let you watch a recap movie 😔 Yeah absolutely you should wait until you finish 0 for people to show you VN stuff, don't want to accidentally get spoiled on anything

In short, I didn't think the movie was good, but I like it anyways. I enjoyed the beginning where we get more of the slice-of-life scene, but of course, in order for a movie to sell, you need a problem. I thought they could have focus more on the issues that Okabe was facing as we only get a brief conversation, but the highlight of the movie is Kurisu having more screen where we get to experience her struggle, resolve, etc. If you're going to have people tell about, or show you the VN, then that is going to open the flood gates.

Hahahaha, well, it did "kind of" happen once with a Neon Genesis movie, so it's scarred me ever since, even though that film did have some great "added" moments that made it worth it! So you never know! But yes, thank you for the notes on the VN things -- it is probably better to wait to the very end, I agree! Thanks for the comment! :D

I can DEFINITELY see this movie being polarizing! I enjoyed the “happy ending” that we got but man, it was stressful getting there! And yesss – I agree – I kept waiting to see what was happening with Okabe and seeing him in the “R” world line more would have been really neat! I’m with you 100% on that one! But this definitely felt like a Kurisu-centered movie, and if it gets her tsundere heart on par with Okabe by the end? Eh, that works for me! 😀 Thank you for the note on the VN aspects; definitely going to wait on that, so thank you! 😀

hello! little late to the reaction but does anyone know why i can't play the video in the link? it starts as a 50 second video and then as a 3 hour one but it doesn't play at all, just glitches ((

Thank you, it did indeed help to use another browser, already halfway through the video haha, thank you again! 🙏🏻❤️ Side note: it was only couple days ago when I commented on “weathering with you” that i was going to start Steins;gate and god, binged watched your reaction to the whole thing up until this movie in a day! I did want to sync the show to the reaction from another browser to see clearer but how come this anime is literally nowhere to be seen? I’m very surprised 🤔

Oh awesome! Yeah, Vidyard is weird with certain browsers sometimes, so I'm glad that worked for you! And seriously, I'm not sure what is going on with the stream! SG;Zero is on Crunchyroll, but I had some folks on Patreon help me get files for the regular series -- so bizarre! Thank you for the comment and the kind words! I appreciate it so much!
