It's our last Cherry Magic volume for a little while and HOW DARE the series leave us on THAT cliffhanger -- not only with Adachi and Kurosawa, who are now being threatened by the latter's former harassing client -- but with Minato and Tsuge's roller coaster of emotions and attempts to "take away" Tsuge's psychic powers!

And then there's Tachibana -- OH MY! What a volume, y'all!

Loved the reaction and discussion! This was a fun volume, though a bit angstier than usual. 😅 Adachi’s intense confession while trying to make it Absolutely Clear he is unavailable was so funny. Kurosawa will definitely be on cloud nine for ages. 🤣 (To note: everything in this paragraph is impacted by my strong squick against portrayals of internalised homophobia.) Have to say am not a fan of Tsuge’s attempt at manipulation in this volume – trying to redirect Minato towards feelings of shame, try to imply that it should be “obvious” why he and Tsuge shouldn’t be any more “out” or more “together” than they are… but all to hide a jealous or possessive streak? Not great. But very happy that Minato demanded some actual communication and answers (as he has had to repeatedly) and did not let this “attempt” keep him quiet. /endrant Also, love Minato taking matters into his own hands and wanting to resolve what he feels is an obstacle in their relationship - Tsuge's ability. 😂 “Did Kurosawa write all the lyrics for the musical?” sent me 🤣, I can just imagine Kurosawa writing a full operatic Ode to Adachi. 🤣 Am worried about Kurosawa, really hope he won't experience more sexual harassment from that woman. Can’t believe we’ve reached a hiatus but Vol 16 will be here before we know it. I’ll reiterate that if you do choose to do reactions or reviews of the live action version, I’ll be here all the way. 🥰Looking forward to more Cherry Magic in the future! 🍒

Thank you for the comment and kind words! YES – angst and then a cliffhanger?! Nooooo! I love that Adachi stood up for himself as Kurosawa’s partner – you KNOW Kurosawa was swooning and will be for a while, now! XD I agree, Tsuge’s attitude was sad this volume. I didn’t like it either and it made me uncomfortable as well. I’m happy that Minato demanded actual communication as well! I’m glad he wasn’t kept quiet, either! I’m really hoping that Tsuge’s ability goes away if it’s this much of a hindrance to their relationship. But I guess we will see! Kurosawa has an entire internal notebook of lyrics at the ready, I’m sure. Bless him. I really don’t want Kurosawa to get harassed anymore either, and having to WAIT for volume 16 is so cruel! I don’t know if we will be able to get to the live action before then, but that’s good to know! Thank you!
