On your take at the start, on how "they knew they would be dying, why are they surprised?" I think it's more than only Mizi was "surprised" (and that's because we, as a fandom, were under the impression that she didn't know that losing would kill someone until Karma came out), but most others were not really surprised. I don't think they were just sad and trying their best to either survive or have their loved one survive. But then again, it's heavily up to interpretation. I agree with you on how it's incorrect to think that "humans" were the cause of all the bad in this, instead of the aliens. But, this is from the POV of Mizi. Someone who is currently experiencing deep mental issues. And more importantly, she and all the other humans have been living in a not-so-metaphorical cages ALL of their lives. The implications of how that could have affected their worldview are never-ending. Like, can their brains find it in them to even blame the aliens? It's smt that happens with sheltered humans and their brains; in some situations, they can't "blame" their environment because they don't know what even could be better. And therefore, they blame what they know instead, which is their peers, instead of the root cause. So in this situation, Mizi is blaming her fellow humans and *herself*, instead of the Aliens, because she doesn't comprehend the "possible alternatives" for the aliens. And Mizi seems to blame herself a lot, like the way I interpret her character. Is that she's someone who villainizes her own feelings, even though those feelings are normal and human? But she hasn't grown in a normal environment, so her understanding of "normal" is probably very skewed. I'd assume it to be partially the Aliens teaching "normalcy" as what they want humans to be like, and humans to learning "normal human behaviour" by observing other humans. Mizi clearly idolises Sua, so when she sees Sua being ready to die for her. Mizi would likely interpret that as something that she "should be" doing as well. That segment above ended up being kinda rambly, idk if I made any sense. XD The children are likely clones. As we can see in 6:26 (Karma). They're doing some "adding bloods" with letters L+M (Luka + Mizi?) written there. And the way these children are being displayed at the museum? disgusting. Someone interpreted the "children falling down the fire" moment as "liberating" them from their issues and so on. And everyone was there, except Luka. And then we see that "Luka is Back" poster apparently 7 years into the future... I am so not okay. Someone free him. I can't even imagine what he must be going through. especially now that he has no reason to live anymore. Not with Huyna gone. :sob: Anyway, actor AU is so cute. Drunk Luka means everything to me. If anything happens to him I will kill everyone in this room and then myself

That’s a fair point about a lot of this being up to interpretation - I do appreciate that Vivinos keeps some things ambiguous (as frustrating as it can seem)! XD I definitely felt like I “got” Mizi and Sua throughout this video, but thanks for sharing your perspective. My issue is there’s no “other” voice saying otherwise, so the audience could be led to believe that this is what the author views as the “point.” I like stories that have those two sides colliding, and here, it’s just the POV of an unreliable narrator - which is fun - but needs a foil to it, in my opinion. Someone to offer something to counter Mizi to her face – given how short these videos and this series is, there’s sadly just not time for that. And yeah, I understand the symbolism and trauma Mizi has gone through - this show is FAR from subtle - you’re beaten over the head with the symbolism. Ahhh, that’s a great point to not on them being clones. Gross. Yeah, not a fan of the display – but that makes Till’s smile and wave at the end…kind of weird? I mean, I get he’s supposed to be a symbol of hope for the kids, which is great – it’s just…odd to me, I guess. And ooohhhh, the fact that Luka is STILL DOING THIS 7 years later is actually really sad! Yikes…I guess it’s….KARMA (drum tiss) for what he did during the rounds to everyone, even though it was clearly to survive. Yeah, someone help this poor man!! And yes, the Actor AU was adorable!! More of that and happy times, please!! Thank you for the comment – sorry it took so long to get back to it! 😀
