Loved the reaction and discussion! Rule of 8! Rule of 8! 🥰 Various things I loved: Getting a report that Ito is doing better 🥹 The twins making sure to get their share 😆 Love, love that we got a whole song from Shizuka, such a beautiful performance and voice 🥰 “Nirei is the guy who still uses his parents’ email for contact” Poor Nirei 🤣 Sakura getting head pats and blushy-lines at every little thing Kanji says about him Getting a Roppo Ichiza showcase! Love their styles 😍 An amazing brawl overall! And love the way they animate collaborative moments during the fight here. One thing I consistently find hilarious is the way Sakura approaches his “reasoning” for why something and anything is His Exclusive Problem to deal with. 😆 We’ve seen that from the very start of season 1 when he protected Kotoha and Nirei because there were guys “being lame” in his vicinity. We’ve had a dozen examples since, and in this episode it is essentially ‘I already punched them once, so they’re mine to punch!’ 🤣 Just the way Sakura tries to disguise his protective instincts is so cute. Excellent discussion around the ways Kanji and Ume are influencing Sakura. 🥰 Speaking of ‘protectiveness,’ I really love how clearly we are shown that Sakura thought protection was only possible through dominating a fight, and we have Kanji saying that resilience and consistency can also be protective. Our sweet bean is learning so much! Cannot wait for next week! 🌸

The Rule of 8 does NOT let us down! The gluttonous twins! At least Ito is doing well! Shizuka has such a beautiful voice! Nirei’s so easy to poke fun at – I just can’t help it! I’m glad Sakura gets all the head pats and blushy-lines from Kanji! And yes, it’s great to meet Roppo Ichiza! The brawl has been great so far to watch! Sakura really has this very specific strategy to disguise that he’s being protective! XD I love how Sakura is influenced by the people he meets and yessss, having Sakura learn about resilience is so fun, especially when it involves protection. This episode is so much fun! I always love seeing Sakura learn from a new mentor figure. For some reason seeing Akihito fight reminded me a lot about Sanji. Maybe it was the pinstripe suit and the blonde hair, and that one kick he does when with Suo, but I couldn't stop thinking about Sanji when I saw him after that xD Kanji is so smitten with Shizuka, is adorable.
