*DEERLY BELOVED HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

I have been waiting to meet Chopper since the start of this season but the way we are getting here was nothing like what my brother and I were expecting! The cast is going all out and of course, the Doctorine herself is HERE. And we are so excited!

Why do I cry every episode! I did laugh when Sanji said that dinosaurs were surprisingly versatile. I hope so since chickens are dinosaurs! So when I read what I did read of One Piece, I read up to Chopper getting on board. This is a great episode and my favorite episodes are with Chopper. I agree with the Nami makeup and Robin’s outfits! Nami looked just deathly. They really put a lot of thought and heart into this series, they nailed it! Hats off to your brother for knowing his One Piece! Thanks for filling in the differences between the manga and the show! I think they did a great job with Chopper! So the rubber getting brittle when it’s cold…. This is what happened to the Space Shuttle Challenger. The O rings froze and they didn’t expand like they should have when warm. So there was a gap that let gasses escape and of course that set off a chain reaction that caused the shuttle to explode. I just think of that when I think of cold rubber…. https://youtube.com/shorts/ecXAMpKbdig?si=g6Bo_tfyOx0t3btN Omg, what a sad note to end on! Well, I can’t wait for next week to cry some more and to gaze upon an adorable Chopper!

Sanji had me nearly in tears, too! He was just crushing my heart with the care he took upon Nami this episode!! And Chopper is just ADORABLE - I am in love with his cute design so much! There's so many smart little one-liners in this episode (and the series as a whole) but props to the show for making dinosaurs actually resourceful and not a weird, goofy plot point. And yessssss, my brother has a good memory with One Piece, so I rely on him a lot for what I can't quite remember! That is really horrifying about it being the way the Challenger's accident went down - what a horrifying day in history, to be sure! And a sad way for science to advance. I was not alive during that incident but it was very fresh in everyone's minds when I was growing up. I am VERY excited to get more Chopper next week, though!! Thank you for the comment! :D

I've been waiting for this one! Episode 6 I think is the first episode that REALLY got me thinking that they surpassed the first season when I first watched it (and that's a high bar for me)! Just something about how many plotlines come together in this episode, the Vivi flashback with the Reverie, how AMAZING they did Wapol without overdoing it, Rob Colletti gives his all despite mainly able to emote with just his eyes. He still manages to be one of the most expressive characters we have seen! I was excited when your brother said he was one of his top picks of the series a few episodes back - because they did a great job with him in this episode! And young Vivi is spot on too! Such a perfect casting! Then there's Doctrine, Chopper, and I'm probably missing a few others. How is it they just get so many characters so perfect? I think I remember hearing from a previous discussion that Buggy becomes a Warlord, I can't believe that! I bet there's some absolutely hilarious encounters between Warlord Buggy and Luffy if they ever meet up again after that. And we had another Karoo mention by Wapol, they really are hyping up the duck aren't they? Hopefully Karoo lives up to your expectations! 🦆

YESSS, my brother and I both agree (by the end of the season) that we enjoyed season 2 more than season 1, and I think this arc definitely pushed it there! Wapol is SO over the top without going too far - yes! And yessss, my brother was SO pleased with how Wapol was handled! The casting for Young Vivi, too, is INSANELY well done as well -- the casting for this series deserves an Academy Award; seriously. AND AHAHAHAHA ohhhh yes, the spoiler about Buggy as a Warlord - let me say, it's so worth getting to in the series, because it's just so ridiculous but great! And oh yeah, Karoo Hype is REAL! I will be satisfied no matter what, but the series is really getting us excited about this duck, aren't they!? Thank you so much for the comment - this arc is SO great!
