regarding the lullaby, most men will never admit this, so I will. there will never be anything as powerful/relaxing as a mother's voice/embrace. it's not a sexual thing. given the stresses imposed on us by society, our fathers, or even ourselves, mother gives us permission to relax, to let go, to fail gracefully. it doesn't even need to be biological. i knew an elderly foster mom who's now grown "children" would die for her. it seems maomao is mothering 2 lost boys this episode.

‘Gaoshun in the corner’ is such a mood this episode 😆 MaoMao does take surprisingly well to being a parental/sibling figure here, like you said. She’s her usual blunt self about it of course, but the care is clearly there. She might clash with a very young child, who wouldn’t be able to pick up on that sort of thing as much, but it works very well for someone of Cho-u’s age. 🙂‍↕️ Thanks for the video!

Because of these two bakas, Our poor Gaoshun is so over facepalming and is now wall palming 😂😂 Maomao had earned that PhD in gaslighting and denial in the Yona and SQ Universities 😂😂 Felt so good to see Jinmao interacting finally 🥰 Chou_u is precious and must be protected at all costs Amazing reaction and discussion

I really love that MaoMao is caring for Chou-u and Jinshi in her own way – it says a lot for her to be that way when she has those feelings about her own mom, but still takes that song and sings it for Jinshi! Thank you for the comment and sharing that!

Gaoshun is a MOOD there! YES! I think having Chou-U and Jinshi to look after is going to soften our girl's heart -- but it's MaoMao, she'll still be herself of course! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

Gaoshun is me every episode with these two -- he really needs to just yell for them to date at some point, hahaha!! But yes, MaoMao is a Doctorate in Denial! Seriously, Yona and Shen Qiao are wiping tears from their eyes with how proud they are of her! XD But at least we got some JinMao interactions! I love Chou-U and his interactions with MaoMao so much - I need the protection squad to assemble around him! Thank you for the comment and kind words!
