There's no need to go back and watch the end credit scene, as it's literally just the first scene of season 2 episode 1, so once you start season 2, you'll already have seen it. As for the chibi's, doing it after the discussion is probably the best, as we will get your immediate response from the episode before you watch them. Doing them at the end of the season could work, but a lot of them actually tie into the episodes themselves, so I think it's better to watch them after the episode rather than in a batch at the end. The break times start to get actually important from season 2 onwards, as they put some good lore stuff in them, and they also use them to showcase some of the cut content and minor side story stuff. As for what episode to do as a stand alone reaction, I'd recommend the first episode. I would not recommend the final episode be the one singled out as it flows better if you watch the last 2 back to back. Looking forward to your reactions for season 2!

Also this is entirely tangential but during the react when you sang "Ride wit me", I also just finished your S1 Vinland saga reacts and the mix of the series combined with that comment conjured an image of Subaru dripped out in gold and treasure like the one episode with Askeladd 😭😭😭

Shinichiro Otsuka's (the light novel artist for Re:zero) favorite ship is Subaru x Julius, so I think its fine if you ship them.

I think you should have the last episode of season 2 be alone as you'll also talk some about the season as a whole. The same thing will happen in season 3 as it has 16 episodes but the first one is movie length.

Going off your comment about Subaru’s role as a protagonist, I think it’s kind of cool how he has to rely on stronger people around him. To make a chess analogy, Subaru is the king piece, offensively weak but surrounded by stronger pieces. His ability allows him to reset the board to an earlier state with his opponent having no knowledge of the reset. Like you said it’s a strategic role.
