*TRANSMITTING HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

This game just gets better and better and we're diving into the 3rd inning, as a "duel of the pitchers" picks up the pace and Itsuki and Mei get SERIOUS! I'm so excited to finally get to this episode!

NOTE: The first few seconds of the reaction I didn't get edited correctly, so...yeah, apologies for the Oz Curtain drawn back for a moment!

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

I was hoping sooooo hard that they would include Mei sticking his tongue out lol its such a non essential scene so I really thought theyd cut it but its so cute. AND the Itsuki/Mei piggyback made it too! I applaud for it lol. Let me see my cuties being silly. Sawamura proves every single time that he is the sunshiniest ace to ever exist. Im so glad he continues to prove how vital he is for the team. There is not a single other person in this show that could break the cloudy tension the way he does. Another thing i didnt expect them to animate, Sawamura jumping for the foul ball from the bull pen 😂😂 tiny little boy. I always feel like Shirasu is STILL so underrated. Like everyone agrees hes a badass but they dont fully get it. I love seeing him absolutely prove to people why hes the 3rd batter. Mr. Consistent returns. I know the concern is that Furuya is going too hard, BUT I think hes only doing that because he knows hes not pitching the full game. He knows Sawamura is coming in next and he doesnt want to hand the mound over to him while they have a bunch of runs given up so he doesnt really care how hard he's going or if he tires himself out. As opposed to Mei who is trying to pitch the full game. Mei is also just better at conserving energy but when you know youre only pitching until you cant anymore, youre much less frugal with your energy output. I think you missed Ryou insulting Tanba lmao but when Tanba mentioned Yamaoka hitting a homerun, Ryousuke said something about how ironic it was since he gave up a homerun to Yamaoka last year 😂 savage I think the thing thats really cool this time around, is that even though Miyuki isnt getting on base, hes not doing much swinging and missing. Hes fouling a ton, which means hes still making contact. Thats something that Mei hates more than anything and I think it proves how good Miyuki is getting. I love seeing how far Koushuu and Sawamuras relationship has come. He really is obsessed with checking on Sawamura and I think thats so sweet given how roughly they started lol. This was probably my favourite episode of this cour so far. Cant wait for next week!
