It’s a guilty pleasure of mine to watch reactors finish this series and either get stumped on the end credit scene or come to the realization much later and all at once, so watching you gradually put together the puzzle pieces of who that is at the end was so funny. I was cracking up because it reminded me of the meme from Horrible Bosses where Dan is standing in front of his crazed plan with the red string and cutouts and long story short this was incredibly enjoyable to watch. Very eager to see the release of season 2 and even more eager to watch along with you. As a manga reader, all I can say is while Fu has easily become one of my favorite side characters as well, I encourage you to look forward to others who will definitely shine in the upcoming season. Nice insight at the end, I definitely missed the double agent angle myself! Was a fun series to watch your discussion on, and its ties to Soul Eater and the crazy characters and fights! As an anime-only watcher, I'm very curious where we go in the next season, but whatever happens, I can be sure it will be full of more amazing character design - not many anime have the style of this show!

From my perspective, Rudo contacting with Remlin was related to the talk he had with Amo. And Zanka was also suggesting him talking to Remlin because of that - during Rudo's talk with Amo he understood how important it is to try to talk to and help sameone and how crucial it is to making a working relationships. Thats why he wanted to reach to sad Remlin but just didn't know what to say and how to behave. He just wanted to put in work his own character development and Zanka pushed him to it, too. Enjin slept in the same room as Zanka in the last episode. I think it made Zanka nervous because of his "puppy crush" on Enjin lmaoooo. To be honest, Fu is one of my favourite characters, I just love him so much without specific reason. It's just... maybe I relate a little bit to him in some way and he is just so funny and interesting every moment he appears on the screen. I also love his design, he is probably my fav design in Gachiakuta, even tho its very simple. I also think that he resemble more of a raccoon than a fox with his dark mask over his eyes. His character design is just so pleasing to the eye. I also love that he wants ENJIN to order him, like what it is about Enjin and teen boys getting crushes on him??? One more thing about Fu is that he has one of my favourite seiyuus ever. My top one is and always will be Hiroshi Kamiya OF COURSE, but the next ones are Fukuyama Jun, Miyano Mamoru and Hiro Shimono and Hiro Shimono is Fu's japanese VA. I do not remember if you checked his VA, but I still would love to cite some of my favourites of his other roles, lke for example Zeno from Yona of the Dawn, Kawakami from Diamond no Ace, Nacht from Black Clover, Dabi from BnHa, Connie from Attack on Titan, Syo Kurusu from Uta no Prince-sama, Soujiro from Log Horizon and Aoba from Durarara!!. Hearing him always makes me so exited, dude has range! I'll put there some of my theory about Canis Surebrec. What we know now about him is that he goes my three "names", Canis Surebrec, the Watchman and the Undertaker. We know that the "Watchman series" were his things and it seems that he is related to the big thing Noelde saw at a barrier. So as you said that name Canis is related to dogs, but I also noticed that Surebrec is Cerberus from behind and Cerberus was also a dog (a three-headed dog that was guarding the Tartarus in the greek mythology). And the "Watchman" may also be understood as a person guarding something/over something, so both of these names checks out and suit each other from my perspective. But... the Undertaker? I was wondering what it may be about? But it may relate to the Cerberus too, like the Tartarus was the underworld in the greek mythology, and the undertakes is someone who is burying the dead, it also suit each other. We do not know how long the Ground was existing in the Gachiakuta and how people actually ended in that place (or maybe the Ground is the origin, and people made the Sphere and escaped the Ground themselves? we do not know) but maybe the Undertaker part is related to Canis making people go to the Ground (that is "down" like the underworld?) or making people stay and not leave the Ground? and thats why the Barrier exist and he "watches" over it like a "Watchman" or "Cerberus". Gachiakuta is such a slow burn series that it gaves like one answer and ten questions at the same time. I wonder about the second season, if I get it correctly the first one covered 10 volumes of the manga, so they have enough material for exactly one more 24 episode season (it has 19-20 volumes by now). Then we probably gonna have to wait A LOT until the third season because it will take some time until the author will draw enough material to make it. Fun fact - in the manga, there is a character on every volume cover, and, outside Rudo who get three covers, they do not repeat themselves. The first four volumes are, of course the main four (Rudo, Zanka, Enjin and Riyo) and the fifth volume actually has a Tamsy on it. The covers are really pretty, I would reccomend you looking for the first 10 ones (that are covered by anime), they do not have any spoilery things on them, theyre just the drawing on the character. I think it was neat that Bro and Enjin followed the kids to be sure theyre safe. Its breaking a trope a little bit, because in a lot of battle shounens the kids get a lot of responsibility and are "left alone" to do their missions/jobs because theyre "strong" and "capable". But here, no, the kids are not going anywhere without and adult supervision LMAO. And I get it, I work at kindergarten and I would be scared to send some of my kids to toilet without my supervision. I feel like a Bro Santa on this one.
