Y'all...this is it. This is the episode that has me OFFICIALLY on board with Free! -- I've had a lot of fun with it up until this episode, but this one just sold it for me!

I hope you all enjoy the full length reaction!

FREE will surprise you. It has it sweet/sugary moments, but is has its drama/angsty moments too. The Rin/Haru dynamic is interesting but they do push each other to be better. The character growth that Haru goes through during all three of the current seasons is so good. Yes. Kyoani animation is always so beautiful and I always love how they animate the eyes of their characters, they look so... it hard to find the right word - liquid, fluid. And how they animate emotions is just a chiefs kiss. Although I have not watched a lot of Kyoani production the ones I have (FREE, Tsurane and Violet Evergraden) the animation is always stunning from the character designs all the way to the environments the characters live in. Come of the WATER in FREE has a life of its own.

YES! This episode officially got me on board with the series! I love all the fluff and sugar, but the dynamic between Rin and Haru just got a lot more interesting, and I love the competitive dynamic -- Nitori is also adorable and his adoration of Rin is too cute. "Senpai!" And oh my goooooosh, the way they animate water/hair/emotions/everything, haha! It's so fluid and beautiful! <3 I just love it -- that is awesome they do Tsurune too! I've seen still images of Violet Evergarden and it looks gorgeous as well! I'm really excited to see what happens next!

Kyoani's animation is just stunning. In Violet Evergraden they have these animated time lapses of sky and they look REAL. They're just stunning
