NEW REACTION LINK: https://pixeldrain.com/u/cbDXLYFs

This was intended to premiere to the public on Christmas Day, but you all get to see it a week early! It's an ENTIRE volume in one reaction! ^^

Plus, the reaction to OP #2!

FINALLY, Headphone Users...Read and Watch with Caution this volume! ;)

Oohhhhh, this volume was a LOT of fun! It's in my Top 5 of the series...for now. ^^

Merry (early) Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Fyi, the final will be played in Round-robin format. So, all four teams (Shohoku, Kainan, Ryonan, and Takezato) will play each other once; the two team with the best record would be advanced to the National Tournament.

You are more than welcome! ^^ I agree; I've recorded the next few volumes to get ahead on my schedule, and I already like this format MUCH more!! Thanks for the comment and support!

OOOHH, that makes MUCH more sense! I've already recorded the next few volumes, for scheduling reasons, but I will eventually (probably in volume 15 haha) make a note of that -- that makes the most sense! Thank you so much for the comment and support!

Mmm, not a fan of writing long posts on patreon, cuz my phone and this site are near incompatible, but gotta point out a thing. Coach Anzai said "If you don't play Kainan to win, it's better to not play them at all. They might scar you for the rest of your basketball life if you go in just to play". That's because Kainan is a national lvl team. Every year they enter interhigh and while they never won it, it's not like they're the worst of all entries. Maki is top lvl player even by national standards. If one can't defeat Kainan, might as well forget winning nationals. Also, what Ryonan coach meant by "era of Maki and Fujima ended," was that it used to be Kainan vs Shoyo, Maki vs Fujima and no one even came close to them for past three years. Fujima was defeated, and both are seniors. In any case next year's top 4 are up for grabs.

Thank you so much for the comment! That sucks that you have to type it out on your phone -- I agree, I wish these were on YT for accessibility reasons, but here we are. -_- Thank you for the translation information as well; that makes SOOOO much sense, especially given how these brackets are working (I noted with another patron that I've already recorded a few more volumes, so I'll probably bring it up in Volume 15; apologies ahead of time). But that's a great point...Kainan is setting up to be sooo intimidating already, and I love the idea that with the 3rd years gone on these teams, the next few years will be anyone's game! So exciting! Thanks for the support and comment!

Oh, volume 14 is done already? Haha, I knew it. All the talk about doing a volume at a time cuz someone suggested it was just a cover up. Admit it. You wanted to keep reading yourself, innit?😂😂 Anyway. Got a trivia to share. Game with Shoyo is sorta turning point where manga finally went full basketball mode. While Inoue wanted to write a basketball manga from the get go, editors said that sports manga won't sell. So Inoue was forced to start more like school drama plus sport back in 1990. But as popularity grew he was given more free reign to do the story telling on court. So with main cast established almost off coart, after Shoyo it's a manga about kids journey via basketball. Less school antiques, more coart action.

Welllllll, I was doing a volume a week (split into two videos), but after Volume 11, I decided to maybe record a head a little bit! :D I can't help it -- this series is too good! OH, that really makes a lot of sense why the start of this manga doesn't have a lot of basketball in it -- I was curious about that! That's hilarious -- now sports anime are so into the sport right off the bat. I actually love that we're getting into the game elements with this volume; that's cool moving forward! Thanks for that trivia! It makes the beginning volumes make a whole lot more sense.
