Oh, Haru....you have some messed up nightmares, my dude.

Also, Sosuke's shoulder is REALLY not right, I need more Mako/Rin interactions, and Haru...just...HARU. What we doing?! @__@

A mad Haru is not someone to mess with. He looked pretty scary in that one shot of him. He is definitely going through it with all the external and internal pressure he is under. Rin just does not see how he adds pressure to Haru, which as he said he tends to run away from. Sosuke he's our Haiji, he wants to run/swim but can't right now. Unlike Haiji instead of allowing his injury to heal he is pushing himself, which is making the injury worse. But I think that he already know how bad it is and just wanted to swim with Rin again since his future in swimming may be limited. Momo and his family are just chaotic.

Ahhh, yeah, Haru can be just as furious as Rin, and the parallels are all there...except Haru is running towards swimming with his friends, and last season Rin ran from his own team at this point. Yeah, Haru is not handling all this pressure well. At. All. And poor Sosuke; the Haiji comparison is there, too! And yeah, I'm guessing that he's just pushing himself so he can swim with Rin, which he's finally realized is what he wants to do...ahhh....all the Free! angst! ALL OF IT! *throws confetti* And I cannot IMAGINE a holiday at the Mikoshiba household. Just. Pure. Chaos.

I always get a kick out of Free! doing its own version of horror. This episode reminded me of the lighthouse episode from season 1, although not played for laughs, this time. Also, bless the show creators yet again for a little hotel arc =P Makoto and Haru rooming together and Samezuka in the same hotel? Go nuts with whatever pairing you want, fanfic authors! Momo also grew on me, too. Hard to hate someone who is so earnest, even if it is a bit "much." I get a bit emotional when we finally see Haru lash out at Rin, but then to follow it up with a pained Sousuke just sitting under the showerhead, talk about a gut punch. That honestly hit me harder the the Haru stuff. Can't wait for next week's reaction. Sharky, sharky angst ahoy!

Ooh, wow, yeah you're right! This is a LOT like the lighthouse episode in terms of the tone, only yeah...actually scary/creepy! And I cannot IMAGINE the fan fiction that came from this episode ALONE!! hahahaa, the INFINITE POSSIBILITIES! ^^ Momo is super extra, but he's earnest....his personality is the opposite of Nitori, but both are hard-working and I love that! And mannnn.....Sosuke was very pity-worthy this episode! Haru I felt for as well...and Ooooooh, ready for the angsty shark boy-time next episode! #teamangstyshark

This episode is so sad and it always bothers me that Rin and the others don’t notice how much the pressure of their questions & the future is affecting Haru’s mental state.

Yeah, you're absolutely right -- I can see how they mean well in trying to reach him, but it's just adding more stress. I think the lack of communication between Haru and the others is the worst part -- Haru's not dumb, and is an emotional person, he just struggles in finding the words to put his emotions out as...I'm just waiting for him to bare his soul to these guys...maybe by the end of the season? Don't spoil me, but a girl can hope! I just want a giant nakama connection by the end of the season. Seeing our resident merman sad is HARD. T_T
