A poet, a tiger, and a suicidal man walk into a bar...

But seriously, I'm so intrigued with this show already! The unique animation, concept, and rag tag group of characters has me excited to see how this show develops! Now to go researching... ^^

I hope you all enjoy the reaction and thank you for the support!

I am so glad you are watching BSD! I love this show and I hope you enjoy it too! I think it has a perfect balance of comedy, mystery and seriousness. And the animation is so beautiful♥️

Fun Fact...Osamu Dazai wrote a story called "No Longer Human." Each character is an real author and their abilities are one of their works. The anime is based off of a series of graphic novels. There is lots of humor in the early episodes but it does get darker. Might recommend writing down character names as there are a lot of them. You are in for a different kind of ride.

Thank you! I'm soooo excited to get into this show! Those boxes are all being checked for me, and I love it! *does happy dance*

I didn't realize that each character was the name of an actual author! That is really neat!! I love this concept -- my research before each episode continues from Banana Fish, haha! That's cool, and I can see this show having room for some grimmer bits. Hmmm, yeah, a notepad for writing down characters is probably going to be needed! After the ride that was Banana FIsh, I'm ready for a sort of different kind! This looks like it'll be a good one! :D

I've never watched BSD either, so I'm excited to watch along with you! It's so *pretty*, and I love a good, weird magic system. A fun detail I liked about Atsushi's new outfit in the credits is how he has the extra long belt like a cat tail, haha.

Oooh, that's exciting! We can watch together -- and yes, good animation + cool super power/supernatural elements = I'm interested! And I noticed that in Episode 2, (which I just watched), but yes! It does look like a tail -- how cute! :3

I watched BSD just one time, but I listened to the ending song so many times that I memorized all the lyrics and sang along O.O ahaha

That is awesome! The OP and ED are already really good, so I have a feeling I'm going to be listening to them outside the show as well! :D :D Thanks for the comment!
