Atsushi gets initiated into the Agency -- and is that Haiji's VA I hear? Yes, yes it is. Long time, no speak! ^^ In any case, this episode was HILARIOUS and wonderful, and I'm already digging the humor and casual fun of this series, even if there seems to be some menacing things working under the surface! [Like this black and white haired stranger, eh?] Hmmm...

I hope you enjoy the full length reaction and thank you for the support!

wes

I personally read "No longer human" by Osamu Dazai before watching the anime, and was so surprised to see this obvious yet subtle reference to it in the show! This book is actually one of my favourites, and the whole jester or clown behaviour (I read it in my native language, so I can't be sure which word exactly is used in an english translation, lol) tells so much about Dazai's character, you have no idea. I strongly reccomend you to read it one day. Very depressive, but brilliant novel

It takes place in Yokohama. Not a place that we seen much in anime. oh, the joys of hearing Demon Sempai again! Dasai has serious side to him, which you will get to see as the story progresses. Glad you're enjoying it so far.

Oh, that is so cool!! Thank you for the review and comment about it! :D I can already see (based on the book summary) the connections, so I'm excited to see those explored more! I definitely will have to add it to my "eventually read" pile that keeps growing, haha! Thank you!

Ooooooh, that explains Yokohama Gangster's Paradise for next episode! Hahaha, thanks!! And yessss, here I thought it was the last I'd hear of Haiji's VA for a while and he's instantly in the next show I watch! SO excited!! Ahh, I have a feeling Dazai is going to be one of those characters like Gojo, like Urahara from Bleach, that have this carefree/happy-go-lucky appearance, and underneath is soldiering either pain or serious intentions...that has me VERY intrigued!!

Also funny enough I decided to check out the JJK dub cause I also watch a majority of my anime sub and Gojo and Dazai have the same Eng VA but I just love JJK sub too much to not watch it in sub.

Oooohhh! Really?! That's cool! I could see that with them! I like the JJK dub, but I've stuck with the sub too because it's so good! :D

They SO radiate the same energy! Dazai and Gojou have that mentor-who-is-funny-but-is-hiding-his-OP-ness energy!!
