So, CHRIS.

I am a SUCKER for a character with a sports injury, and so y'all can imagine how attached I've instantly become to Chris, this stoic character who has actually a lot more going on under the surface. He looks like he'll be a perfect mentor for our overly enthusiastic, hard-to-control Sawamura...and the fact that Miyuki respects him SO much?

Yeah, I think he's going to be a favorite for me, already.

Chris-senpai is what I will forever call him just I- *swoon* instant attachment tbh. Him and my guilty favorite Haruichi just *chefs kiss*

I love these trio of episodes! We get to meet Chris senpai, non-troll Miyuki AND the Kominato brothers! All of which I LOVE! 💕💕 And the character development with just not Eijun is just **chef kiss** Our first year trio has much to learn! I love how this anime sets up friendly healthy rivalries. Furuya and Sawamura, Chris and Miyuki and, of course, the Kominato brothers. I fully understand your appreciation for the bits we have seen of the brothers relationship. As a sibling myself, I love their competitive yet caring relationship. Yes, Eijun is left handed. Southpaw is actually a term synonym with left handed players. As for the numbers, for this anime, from 1 to 9 they are based on the players positions. 1= ace pitcher, 2= catcher, 3= first base, 4= second base, 5=third base, 6= shortstop (infielder between second and third base), 7= left fielder, 8= center fielder and 9= right fielder Then, from 10 to 20, they are more based on “importance”. Thanks for the great reaction! 🙌🏻❤️❤️

I just LOVE Chris already! His story and character is so cool coming into this series! And Haruichi is such a supportive gremlin -- these two! **Chef's Kiss, indeed!**

The introduction of these characters and seeing just the potential they have with interacting with Eijun? SO GOOD! I love it! Yes, the idea that these characters can all be in rivalries, but they're all "healthy" says so much -- especially Furuya/Chris/Miyuki/Sawamura and then the Kominato brothers! I remembered the term "southpaw" from Haikyuu -- which is why I was so surprised! I hadn't noticed he was left-handed until they mentioned that! And the number system makes a lot of sense! :D Thanks for that info! :D Thanks, too, for the kind words and comment! I'm loving where this series is going! :D
