I seriously think my favorite thing about this episode is the showcase about the relationship Mikasa and Armin have with each other apart from Eren. It warned my heart to see. And, uh welcome to another curveball this show throws at us. Some intelligent, fighter of titans, titan? Aot certainly isnt holding its cards to close to its chest it seems. I mean, what an eventful first mission for our protagonists. Maybe not a happy one though. So excited for the next episode!

YES, seeing how close Mikasa and Armin are -- it was wonderful and definitely helped amp up the stakes of the episode, but uhm WHAT A CURVEBALL! This episode may be the one that officially hooked me. So much mystery and intrigue! Thanks for the comment!

I LOVE Armin so far! I don't know how he gets hate -- our boy has been through the RINGER in these first several episodes, but he still is so smart and sweet! I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing more of him develop in this series! ^^

I like that they showed us more of the relationship between Armin and Mikasa. For me Jean is one of the most relatable characters. The inner conflict he has this episode is so good. "This world is cruel, but also very beautiful" reminds me of my favourite character of a TV show so when this line comes I get emotional. XD That's what you call survival instinct, Mikasa. I never enjoyed seeing someone this confused that much. XD AoT is giving us so many twists and it's been just the beginning. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Yes! Armin and Mikasa's relationship has become some of my favorite parts of this series! And YES! Jean is a flawed character, but is one of the more fleshed out and relatable so far; if I were in that world, I can't say that I wouldn't have the same mindset as him, just as a survivalist mentality. And yessss, that line is perfect! I loved that moment! And ahhh, the confusion, and it's JUST starting! I can't imagine what twists and turns are to come! Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!
