**WARNING: I scream a LOT in this, just so you know...**

Oh, so THIS is the low key season, you say? THIS is the foundation of the show and when things were SIMPLE?! Dear Lord, what did I sign up for?

This is one of my favorite episodes of season one and the most I've freaked out in the show so far...SO many questions! SO many theories! I could be totally off base with all of them, but please don't spoil me! Holy cow, this is getting insane...

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

The plot thickens…. Is all I’m going to say haha. I can definitely see how I wasn’t really paying enough attention during S1 as you are picking up on a few things that are quite intriguing and I had originally missed them. I feel like most AOT fans consider S1 to be weaker than the rest (due to a lot of focus on heavy action) but still has quite a few interesting reveals, potential hints or causes for different theories. The Female Titan arc or part of this season is quite exciting so I’m looking forward to the rest of your reactions :)

Now i know how Isayama must have felt when we all were collectively losing our minds back in 2013... But ah, the source of so many memes. It was a glorious time. Thank you for reminding me of it. The predictions back then were WILD, though i fear sharing some of them would at least tell you what is not true, so i count them as spoilers and thus will refrain from doing so. But consider yourself lucky to experience a glimpse of the insanity of 2013. Damn you Isayama, you are a sick puppy, lol.

I cannot IMAGINE how you all were seeing this season the first time -- at least I'm not the only one losing it, right? I appreciate you not spoiling me, though. I feel I'll be looking back on these episodes and laughing at all the developments that have happened since then! :) Good to know this episode is like a time capsule for 2013, hahaha! The insanity is real!

Hahahahaha, thank you! I can see how people would NOT want to comment on this episode, because there are SO many questions and theories popping up! And the fact that this is the WEAKER season is both increasing my hype and also also making me incredibly nervous, haha! I'm soooo excited! Thank you for the kind words! :D

I love how in the discussion you just paused for a moment and was like "BUT WHY?!" that is a question I've asked countless times watching this show and lol!

SERIOUSLY! I think the discussion post-this episode has been my favorite so far, mainly because of my crack pot theories (and I might have cracked the code -- who knows), but I the main question of "WHY" is such a center of this show to me -- it's the mystery that is hooking me deeper, and I know I'll get answers eventually...but what a rides it's making for! :D :D

It was sweet how they tried to protect the rookies. I always feel really bad for the horses. I like how Jean kisses his sword/hand because that was the one he holded the ashes in. It's so interesting to see how much little details you see. The first time I've watched it I have seen like half of them. XD Armin big brain as always. "But WHY?" That's the show. XD It's really hard to write about this episode. Wish you a wonderful day!!

Oh, those poor horses -- I feel bad for horses in any war movie, because you know they're going to get hurt and I don't want them tooooo... ...OMG, I did not connect that the hand Jean kissed was the one with the ashes in it?! SHOW, show why would you give us that Marco x Jean content when he's deadddddd? WHY?! Speaking of which, that seems to be the show, eh? I can't imagine! At least Armin is big brain! I can't wait to look back on this season and see what all changed with the theories, etc. Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!

Honestly.. Jean seems to impress me more and more every episode. His character development throughout the last 15 episodes has been phenomenal.

RIGHT?! I agree 100% -- I thought Jean was interesting in the first episode he was introduced, but he's become more and more of an intriguing and dynamic character as this series has gone on! He may be one of my favorites, now! :)

Sorry if you mentioned it in the review but at the start of the episode the place they left was not Trost but Karanesse which is to the east. You probably already remembered but Trost gate is blocked so they need to go a longer route from the east district.

I can't remember if I said that or not, but you're probably right mentioning that! Thanks for putting that point out there! ^^
