Who are the most fashionable characters in Bungo Stray Dogs? Why, it's Akutagawa....and his SISTER apparently! Holy SMOKES, I don't know how it escaped me for three seasons, but this show just dropping some family blood bombs on us...in the most HILARIOUS of fashions!

This episode was so bizarre, hilarious, and honestly, I could watch Higuchi's fruitless antics to get Akutagawa to notice her all day. Also, our new resident tech guru is adorkable...and that darn cat continues its rampage...

Thank you for watching with me and for all the support!

I still remember when you said that Akutagawa looked like Gin with the Demonic Armour mask and me immediately having to pause and collect myself because of how correct that was. The Akutagawa siblings got some good genes there. Finally, I can mention the story by Akutagawa, O-Gin, the story Gin was named after. It's the only story I've actually read of Akutagawa's, and I think it's very interesting. To summerise, it's about a little orphan girl named O-Gin who was taken in by Christan parents, but this was during a time when being Christan could have you executed in Japan. When she was to be executed, she looked out to the graveyard where her birth parents were, and denounced her religion, but still went through with her execution, so that she would go to Hell and see her birth parents again, and her adopted parents followed suit so they could be with her in the afterlife. Very much sacrifice for the sake of family This can be seen referenced in Gin's design in the manga, with the crosses on her clothes. Gin also means silver, if I remember correctly, which could be the reason for the siblings' eye colour. Also fun fact, Gin and Kyouka were trained by the same person. I've been waiting to info dump about Gin Akutagawa

So idk if you remember (probably not wit so many reactions) but weeks ago during the 2x11 reaction I told you how you had a moment were I went “SHE KNOWS!”. At 18:11 of the discussion you said that Akutugawas face covering looks like Gin and I went like 👀👀

YESSSS, It ALL MAKES SENSE now, hahaha! I can't believe I didn't put two and two together, but the concept of Akutagawa having a sister was so strange to me, it didn't seem likely. I like that his demonic armor is such a foreshadowing of that! ^^

OH YEAH! I can't believe that was foreshadowing their relation! I love it! And yesss, they got some good genetics, indeed! That is so cool about O-Gin being a reference to an actual story by Akutagawa! That is so neat, and the crosses make sense, too; the name reference to silver should have hinted as well...but I love that we finally get confirmation of these details! :D Thank you for all this information! I can also see the connections with Gin and Kyouka in their movements -- that's so neat! ^^

I think everyone was shocked. Gin just keeps shocking us, first when it was revealed she was a girl and now Akutagawa’s sister…like WHAT?

Gin is shocking us left and right, while Akutagawa has no one surprised, haha! That was my first red flag -- Akutagawa? With another WOMAN? Nahhhh... XD

Oh, I didn't think Alan Bennett was a base for Ace, I mean we had some theories but abandoned them in the end. In fact, we do have some contemporary authors in Ango's division, including Tsujimura! Maybe Japanese authors are easier to deal with in terms of copyright.

Oooh, that's interesting! Hmmm... maybe they are just easier to avoid copyright issues with? That's good to know! :D

I just love the way they draw the moon and the colours they use for it. Katai is voiced by Suzumura Kenishi who voiced Momo in free. The shop owner is too sweet. Gin and Akutagawa are fashionable power siblings and I'm all in for it. Higuchi is also a good example on how NOT to be jealous. XD And Kunikida and Higuchi? Now I kinda want to see it. Wish you a wonderful day!!

I am so glad you noticed that it is Katai and not Ango in the opening, though I get the confusion. They look kinda similar. I don't know if it is canon information but I think the Agency members earn less than the Port Mafia members (especially once you're an executive or something like that). It would make sense since I can't imagine a criminal organization paying their taxes dutifully. But also Atsushi is maybe stuck in a mentality of not spending money on himself or seeing it as wasteful...anyways thank you for this reaction and have a good day :)

Yesssss, I can't believe I thought he was Ango now, hahaha, but they do look similar! @_@ And ha, of course the PM pays more! :D That's true about Atsushi; he doesn't strike me as a "materialistic" person, whereas Akutagawa...man HAS to be fashionable! :) Thank you for the kind words and have a great day, too!

The moon in this show is basically its own character! And NO WAY, Katai and MOMO share a voice actor?! That's insane to me! How high does that man make his voice for Momo?! Insanity. I love Gin and Akutagawa as mafia #powersiblings -- LOVE it! And HA, Higuchi is the textbook definition of "jealous woman" and how not to handle it. Seriously, though, my crack pairing in this series may be Higuchi and Kunikida -- she could get him to lighten up (while still being serious and not trolling like Dazai) and he could ground her...and read her poetry? I'm all about it. ^^ Thanks for the kind words and have a great day, too!
