Hey all! 

We still have Bungo Stray Dogs: Wan! to watch, but I will be conducting a public poll to replace it, soon.

However, I need help, fellow Patrons, in narrowing the choices for the public poll!

Please choose ANY and ALL of your favorites -- the Top 5-8 (depending on ties) will be in the public replacement poll!

OMG, these are some excellent choices. 86, Vanitas no carte and Tokyo revengers are a must-watch in my book!

A lot of good choices, Top 3 from the list currently would be Tokyo Revengers, Platinum End and Erased. I’ve heard good things about 86 and Terror of Resonance. Excited to see what wins :)

I don’t mean to be rude, but what exactly makes you think Platinum End is good on any level? I’m genuinely curious.

Wow the recency bias is crazy on these polls. Most of these shows are great but Vinland Saga, Parasyte, and Death Parade are easily the best on the list. But the polls always seem to swing in the direction of the recent “hot” anime.

I know for a fact you'd love Vanitas no Carte and Seraph of the End but all of these are great anime so it's hard to choose what to put on the poll! Can't wait to see the results.

Vinland Saga! It's a masterpiece and there should be a season 2 coming soon! Mob Psycho has amazing animation, a unique art style, great characters. My third pick would be Death Parade. Again the animation is on point and I love the show's whole concept, plus it's only 12 episodes.

Hi @Polygon - not sure how to respond to your comment sorry hah. I’m a big fan of the mangakas’ other work - Death Note & Bakuman - and I am enjoying it so far. It’s not the second coming of Jesus but it’s interesting and entertaining. Haven’t seen the rest in the list hence why I went with the ones I know I enjoy

Mob Pyscho 100 is amazing- it quickly became one of my favorite animes just because I feel like it has a bit of everything. Unique art style, epic animation, and also has humor and is pretty dark. So happy that it’s up there lol. Also sooo many good options as well that are pretty popular but I haven’t watched yet so kinda hype yay.

That is exciting that Vinland Saga is getting a season 2! Death Parade looked really good as well, but I'll be honest -- Mob Psycho 100 has had my eye for a while...but y'all are voting, so I'll be excited no matter what wins! :)

I'll be honest; I've been excited about Mob Psycho 100 for a while so I'm hoping to get to it sometime -- but I've heard great things about it! :) And there's a lot of hype since it's getting a third season! But, I'm honestly hyped about all of these options, so I can't wait to see what wins!

The good news is if it's on this poll, I am going to eventually watch it! I'll probably do an "Older" poll in the future and definitely a "retro" poll after Moriarty, so some of the more "classic" anime can get a chance on there. I'm excited for what wins, though! :)

My first pick is Death Parade, I would love to see you react to it. I can imagine how good your disscusions to it could be. My second pick is Tokyo Revengers, I don't know what exactly it is but something really draws me in on this show. Somehow I know all the other names on the list but I haven't watched any of them. I'm definitely excited to see which show it's going to be.

Have you seen Death Note? I recommend you watch it after finishing Attack on Titan. Monster is also really good but it's really slow. If you ever decide to react to live action shows I highly recommend Dark. It starts off like a German version of Stranger Things but slowly devolves into insanity. It's super complex but you'll be able to keep up. It's the Attack on Titan of its genre. If you don't react to it at least watch it on your own. Westworld is also really good.

Don’t think they’ll win here, but even in your own time Terror in Resonance and Beyond the Boundary are so worth the watch! TNR has the best soundtrack of anything I’ve ever watched, and bnb/knk has some incredibly gorgeous animation (especially for 2014ish?) Would love to see them on some other polls in the future too :)

A note on Death Parade: I am sure it would be your jam, but there is a brief "throwaway"-moment that hits differently when you've seen another particular series. Don't want to go into details, because that would spoil the moment in question imo. Would it dissuade me from watching it ? Probably not, but i wanted to bring it up in the most vague way i know how to ^^. Though i don't know how to say "well, now you can watch it" without giving it away at least partially either, so that's kinda an issue in itself. Watching it "in reverse" wouldn't be terrible either i guess, so yeah... Great series imo, but can't vote for it in good conscience. Kinda surprised not many people care about Demon Slayer. Maybe it's because people don't like not being able to start at season 1 ? Other than that, i guess it's the usual suspects. Personally, if i had to decide, i'd go with Vinland Saga. But i'm also interested in 91 days and 86, because i haven't watched them yet. but i've heard good things from people whose tastes i trust, so those are my votes :)

No, that's okay! As long as I have no other context, I think it's fine! And thanks for the two recommendations! Once AOT is over, I'll likely have a free day open and I might do a "Creator's Choice" day and start watching some series I want to see - I'll have to make note about Another for Halloween...though, I'm easily scared, so....that should be fun. @_@

Absolutely no worries about me getting angry :) I didn't want to come out guns blazing and outright link the two, the scene is small and you wouldn't be confused or anything if you were missing the context, but it's a neat little nod that i know a lot of people appreciate. But yeah, not a big issue either way. Also, yes to Death Billiards ! Thanks for bringing that up !

I would probably watch the sub, because I've heard Miyano Mamoru is in it and I LOVE him as a VA, but I could always watch the dub with each episode afterwards and talk about it in the discussions. Thanks for the recommendation! :D

I am new to polls on Patreon and I can’t tell how to save your vote. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help. Doesn’t look like it has a chance, but I would love to see you do Parasyte at some point. Also, Death Note is a must see. Glad you will have it on future polls.

I think you can just select the shows you want and it automatically adds the votes -- you should be able to go back and alter your vote as well, as long as it's before when the poll ends. I hope that helps! I will definitely get to Parasyte eventually -- hmmm -- maybe a future poll should just ask everyone if they want Death Note + Death Parade. :) We shall see, but it'll definitely be on a future poll!

Since I'm taking two days for AOT, I could always have a poll for one of the days and the other day be "Day of the Dead" and we just do Death Note + Death Billiards + Death Parade, hahaha!
