Hey all!

We are getting closer to catching up with Yona of the Dawn's manga!

Below are the "genres" of what we could replace it with. If you want to see what "options" would be with each of the genres, you can look here:

Be Happy

I am sad we are closing to catching up and in some weeks there will be no Yona manga reactions 😢

romaniablack

I'm sad we'll be caught up, too, but the good news is the reactions won't be "over" -- until the manga ends, I'm going to keep reacting...it will just sadly be longer between volumes after I catch up with Volume 37.

Be Happy

That is great 😊 yes , perversely I can’t wait for you to catch up so we can discuss the story up until volume37, but I will miss my regular friday Yona notification!! Humans (me) are weird 😂😂

Tyler Castline

Hard to vote 🤣 there’s a couple from each genre which I think you’d love but are short. Which if you’re looking for that is pretty good I guess 🤷🏻. Would definitely love to see your thoughts on Bunny Girl Senpai and Anohana.

romaniablack

I'm not opposed to short or long series -- on the one hand, short series means I can watch through more quicker, but there are a lot of great series that are longer, so it's apples and oranges, really! Thanks for voting! :D

romaniablack

No, I hear you!! I am going to be sad when I have to wait for a Yona update. :( I'll be happy to start a new show, but I love Yona SO MUCH that I can't wait for more!!

Kai

Im sad that the weekly Yona reaction and review will be coming to an end soon :") but I'm excited to see what you'll pick up next! I'm voting for retro bcs I saw Monster being listed and i would reeeeally love to see your reaction to Monster, aka THE best anime I have personally ever seen, and one of the best story in general I have ever followed. I feel like if you'll ever review this anime, you will 100% love it just bcs the story has so much mysteries and philosophical themes to disect, and imo some of the best written characters I have even seen in anime. But regardless of which show you will be doing next, I hope you'll have a good time watching!

Abby

I don't know if you've seen it or not, I didn't see it in any of the poll reactions. But could you add Tokyo Revengers to the list of anime you could watch in the future? Season one is completed and season 2 is coming out in January.

romaniablack

I am sad to be nearly caught up with Yona (because we'll have to wait for the next volume) but really excited to start a new series! I've had so many recommendations for Monster -- it definitely seems up my ally! And I'm reallllllly excited to possibly have a chance to see it! :) Thank you so much for the kind words!!

romaniablack

It's in the Shonen/Action category! It's a little confusing, because the category carries over from one column to the next, if that helps! Thanks for the recommendation!!

killerqueen2000

The more I look at this list the more impressed I am by the variety haha. Stuff like Letter Bee and Sarazanmai are more obscure I feel and it's refreshing to see in any poll ;) or sth like Beastars that most ppl wouldnt try because "furries" lol

momo

I know "read a manga" series highly likely won't win with how the poll is looking right now but wowie- I hope you'll one day be able to read Killing Stalking. It really is like no other and stays real high on the list of manga for me. Hopefully we'll get to see you pick apart the story one day!

Katherine

Damn, there are a lot of good options but I think I will go with Monster, its a master piece; btw Blue Lock is getting an anime in october, maybe you can watch that? Its a really good manga, quite different from your normal spokon;)

Abby

Oh alright! I just have to hope it can get chosen then! Have a wonderful day.

romaniablack

Thank you so much!! I'm sure it will be on future polls even if it doesn't make it through this round! Thanks and have a great day, too!

ecksdee

Monster is right up your alley, easy vote

romaniablack

Thank you for voting!! I'm excited to see what wins!

K Henderson

Kinda excited for something live action.. probably Word of Honor or maybe a live action BL could be fun too. Still really hoping for Fruits Basket 2019 even though you know the story, I think it will make you cry :)

K Henderson

Ok Ancient Magus Bride, Wotakoi, Fruits Basket, Wolf's Rain, Inuyasha (but that will take forever), Uramichi Oniisan and Gakuen Babysitters would all be so fun. Although I would love to laugh at you reading Killing Stalking I feel like you would have to censor too much for it to be fun.

Nozaria

There will come a day when someone reacts to Wolf's rain, I know it... T.T But I can't wait to see what will win this time!

Kixkay

Romania!! If Black Butler ever wins, I have a suggestion: I think it would be really cool if you watched Black Butler anime in manga chronological order instead of just rewatching all of Black Butler. If you need the order, I have it. I did this as a group marathon and watch it as the manga intended. Because if you didn’t know, Black Butler got an anime bc the manga was widely popular but fell short because the manga only had like two volumes out. So after a certain point, the plot became anime-only bc there wasn’t enough source material for a full rounded story. Only about 9eps of the first season is manga canon, then everything after including Season 2 is solely anime-only. But then in the recent years since the manga continued and gained more volumes, they released a 13-ep “OVA” and three movies that follow the manga canon and disregards the plus eps from s1 and all of s2. Don’t get me wrong, the Black Butler anime as a whole is so entertaining but it really loses its sort of seriousness that is woven into the original source material. And the Black Butler manga is done so well I want you to experience how the story was intended. A little confusing, but if you’re interested in the manga chronological order, let me know! I think it would be such a fun reaction, plus you can dive right into the manga more easily!

romaniablack

Thank you so much! Y'all have great tastes in suggestions, and haha, I really liked season one of Beastars, but haven't gotten around to season 2!

killerqueen2000

I agree with you on that ahaha. Some channels only do all the mainstream series and it gets boring real fast xd. ooh I like s2 much more tbh. Louis and Legosi have a great dynamic. Louis is my favourite haha

killerqueen2000

the discussions for monster will be jam packed for sure

romaniablack

Oohhhh, that's exciting that you like the second season more! @.@ I hope I can get around to it eventually -- Louis and Legosi are a GREAT dynamic; I do love Louis a lot in the series so far! :)

romaniablack

I definitely WANT to read Killing Stalking at some point! The English versions are coming out in print officially this fall, so it may become a YouTube sub goal if it doesn't win a Patreon Poll. :) Fingers crossed! Thanks for voting!

romaniablack

I've heard so many good things about Monster! I will be excited if it wins -- and watching the Koshien finals, there were SO many ads for Blue Lock, hahaha! We'll be having a sports poll to replace Ace of the Diamond this fall, so maybe it will win? :) Thanks for voting!

romaniablack

I definitely want to get to it eventually! :D Thank you so much for the voting and kind words! :D

romaniablack

Killing Stalking may have to be a YouTube sub goal at some point! Hahaha, but yes, all of those I definitely want to get to eventually! :) Thank you for voting!!

romaniablack

Both of those I've really wanted to see, so I'm excited to see what could win! :D

romaniablack

Thank you so much for the vote and the recommendation! I actually watched the first season back in the day (I didn't really watch the second season because I knew it wasn't canon) and I read the manga up until the "academy" arc started, so it's been a LONG time -- it would be fun to go back and watch season 1, though, and catch up on the anime and manga if it gets voted on, though!! If that ever happens, I would love to get that "manga order" from you, because it's been a LONG time since I've gotten into Black Butler. :)
