Nice! Can’t wait to watch this show with you for the first time too lol :D btw huck is so cute !!

zeroantizero

Very cute! Thank you, Huckleberry! And Merry Christmas!

You're telling me you haven't seen or read Berserk yet? For some unknown reason I avoided it for a long time (I'm not sure why that happened) until very recently and what can I say? Easily one of the best anime/manga I've ever watched/read. Now that you mentioned it should have been on the poll lol. Not long at all, only 25 episodes (1997) and you can continue with the manga until a serious studio will decide to animate the rest of it since there are many arcs and the manga is still ongoing! So yeah. I'm totally out of context here but I really wish more people like you would react to this absolute masterpiece❤ 😤.

Deea_8915

Also your corgi is the cutest awwww😍. But I'm freaking out because he chose one of the shows that I was hoping to win. The second best is Tokyo Revengers hahaha. Maybe it's a sign to watch them both?🤷‍♂️😆

Bella

ikr I just got into Berserk myself recently too and it's incredible! The artwork is just astounding

Tyrone Tyrone

Listen to your brother and watch Fate/Zero

Joseph Hallowell

darn, ping pong will be chosen soon i can feel it, im manifesting

romaniablack

I'm so glad you all are excited, too! I'll let Huck know! <3

Alex Kornejo

I love it, If elections were run this way they would be less of a clusterfuck. On a serious note, If you don't have such a thing, you should definitely have a 'Romania's Choice Slot' for series you just want to react to because you feel like you'd enjoy them regardless of whether they're getting voted. Otherwise small gems might keep getting overlooked by hype train shows and ossified classics and such.

Luigi

yay great pretender is a good one! manifesting idolish7 for next time though <3

brianna a

aww yayyy I'm excited, it's definitely a fun one!!! it's one of the few animes I've re-watched and that says a lot since I'm not much of a re-watcher haha (it was to see my cousin's reactions lmao)

romaniablack

Yay! I'm excited!! That's awesome that your cousin does reactions, too! I've wanted to watch this for AGES, and so I'm really excited to get to it! Thank you!

Tyrone Tyrone

😃Can't believe you're considering LOTGH ( The original one) it has my brain trembling.

romaniablack

Thank you so much for the kind words and yesss, Huckleberry is a handsome little guy! I'm excited to watch this one with you all as well! ^^

romaniablack

Thank you! Huckleberry was happy to help -- Merry Christmas to you as well!

romaniablack

YES! The next retro poll we do it's going to be on there! I definitely want to check it out! Thank you!!

romaniablack

Idolish7 is DEFINITELY one I want to watch for 2023! :)

romaniablack

It's definitely one I'll likely end up getting to -- he's really rooting for it! :)

romaniablack

It's gotta happen in 2023, eh? :) I'm rooting for it in the sports poll!

romaniablack

Hahahaha, thank you! I love Huckleberry and am glad he was a good sport throughout this!

romaniablack

Hahaha, I'm at least putting Tokyo Revengers on the "2nd Place" poll for now! :) But I am glad that so many are excited about The Great Pretender! :)

romaniablack

Noooo, I was afraid to tackle Berserk for a while because the manga is SO long and I couldn't find the 1997 version of the series (I was told NOT to watch the new one), but I recently found someone on YouTube that had recorded the 1997 episodes, so I definitely want to check that series out! It will definitely be on the next retro poll that we do! :)

romaniablack

That's actually a good idea - I think I might take a slot and make it the "Romania's Choice Slot" in 2023, just to watch some series I've been really wanting to dive into! Thanks for the suggestion!

Deea_8915

'I was told NOT to watch the new one', yes that's good advice lol. I'll just stop writing now in fear of giving spoilers away but looking forward for the next retro poll!

romaniablack

Thank you!! Yeah, that's the advice I was given, but YESSSS ready for this to be on the next poll! :)

Cory

Don't know how I missed this. I'm even more sure you'd love Steins Gate (for reasons). hope it makes it's way to a poll sometime.

romaniablack

Oh thank you! I have had Stein's Gate recommended before, so I'm hoping it does as well!
