and the saga continues! so many things to love about these chapters (and yell at mxtx for). god, the bit with hua cheng doing his quick change thing in the background always cracks me up. it's like xie lian, wind master and ming yi are in a horror movie and hua cheng is like? gege? i thought we were in a romcom? and is doing that classic fitting room makeover montage. he's such a menace i love him. And then the bit with the soul switching!! xie lian just going absolute HAM on the reverend and then getting exposed when he accidentally messages the group chat instead of his 1 on 1 dm with hua cheng. peak xie lian accidental boomer moment hahahah. I'm so enjoying you getting so frustrated at every cliffhanger and mystery!! and i love reliving/rereading it too. can't wait till next week!

Hua Cheng just being a DISTRACTION for XL is hilarious! It's like MXTX cannot fully commit to one "genre," so we're getting them all at once! I love it, though! AHAHAHA -- I forget that we call Xie Lian a "boomer" so the "Peak Boomer Moment" is perfect! Ahhh, these cliffhangers will be the death of me, I swear! But I can't wait to read the next set of chapters and talk about it with you all! Thanks for the comment and kind words!

And that first title is why just looking at the contents page can be a spoiler 😅 Xie Lian talking Shi Qingxuan through his panic and helping to calm the situation 🥺 When Hua Cheng is bored he becomes a model; changing his clothes to see which one garners his gege's attention best 😂 Honestly he provides a nice bit of levity from the fear for Shi Qingxuan and the idea of them opening their eyes and the Reverend potentially staring back at them. Your comments to Xie Lian about wanting to critique his boyfriend's looks made me laugh so hard 🤣 Shows how much Shi Qingxuan trusts Xie Lian, but also is so scared in this moment that they gave their permission before getting the details of Xie Lian's plan. Gotta say that "Hi there" from Xie Lian to the Reverend feels like Hua Cheng's rubbing off on our heavenly official 🤣 Honestly love Xie Lian's thinking about fighting with the fan instead of a sword, but Shi Qingxuan's wavelength is on changing their form into their female version to give their friend as much power as possible. Such beings can't have an effect on Xie Lian because he's already experienced all that they have cursed him with. But then the Reverend's words spike momentary fear for Hua Cheng 🥺 Mo Xiang Tong Xiu is a wonder for being able to intersperse such fearful moments with humour, like the fear for Hua Cheng the Reverend's words creates only to then go to Xie Lian showing off what a boomer he is and speak into the group chat instead of his and Hua Cheng's private one 🤣 You listing off all of what Ming Yi's gone through these last few chapters, but you forgot that our foodie also nearly died from food poisoning/Xie Lian's "skills" in the kitchen! Shi Qingxuan really is the best friend we kind of all want. I love that Xie Lian doing all this promotes him from being a friend to being a best friend. But the Wind Master is loyal and so he is their second best friend because a certain Earth Master is firmly in first place 🥰 And we have the second of our Four Tales! Glad no-one spoiled it for you. The Young Lord Who Poured Wine is quite the fitting title for Shi Qingxuan, but like with Xie Lian's title it doesn't encompass all they are. But I honestly was not ready for your theory about Pei Ming. Excessive relations could cause such an issue 🤣🤣🤣 As to your linking all four of the Calamities to Xie Lian, gotta admit Milkshake by Kelis started playing in my head 😂🤣 Second week for 00s music playing in my head! "When I come back I'll tell you something." Our dear author just *loves* dropping those breadcrumbs! Xie Lian lying for Hua Cheng reminds me of the manhua in Banyue when he starts bullsh*tting 🤣 But because of his absolute trust/faith in Hua Cheng Xie Lian manages to lie much better in this situation 🥺 Shi Wudu really loves his younger sibling 🥺 But I love Pei Ming upon seeing Xie Lian immediately wonders if Hua Cheng wasn't with him/part of all this too 🤣 He may be a manwh*re but he does have some intelligence. End this set with Shi Qingxuan screaming 😂😭 Nothing can beat a Mo Xiang Tong Xiu cliffhanger 😂 I honestly feel your pain for having to wait before you can read more. That picture for "Where's Lord Earth Master?" is hilarious! 🤣 One of my favourites I think.

Thank you for the reaction! XL: calling SQX to try finding his whereabouts HC: causally changing outfits every five seconds like in the middle of some dress-up date sim game I know that SQX's fear towards the reverend dated back hundreds of years and is really deep, but his reaction towards being kidnaped clearly indicates that he has no real fighting experience against powerful opponents in close range, while XL, as a martial god, is just too familiar with fighting face-to-face. I'd say if I'm the reverend, I'd be so shocked even frightened by the body switch……imagine leading the prey to some unknown horror and watching his quivers with joy, but suddenly he happily goes 'hello there!' and kicks sh*t out of you…… SQX: for god's sake since you are in my body why don't you use wind magic to defeat him XL? XL: nah...these fists work just fine. And as a sword geek, I'd like to use your fan as a sword too. SQX has dozens of precious magic items on him really shows that he's treasured by his wealthy brother, and another argument for his lack of experience in combat. In other words, he has all the power needed, but is not that tough mentally. HC would like some interest regarding all the manas XL borrowed......but given his feelings towards his beloved Gege, I'd say even XL offered to pay up with his cookings or just a rock randomly picked from the ground, HC would happily accept it and hid it away like the most precious treasure （I'm still not over the head canon that HC has a secret vault dedicated to all the buns given to him by XL） The title of chapter 112 is 'from a designed prison, doors open to meet the ghost'. The 'from a designed prison' part is an idiom in Chinese. It originally refers to the kindness of the people in ancient times. For those who are guilty, they only need to draw a circle on the ground and let people stand in the circle as punishment; later it is used as a metaphor to only be allowed to move within a designated area.

Ahhh, thank you for the kind words and comment! 😀 Ahhh, that’s a great point about SQX not having fighting experience! Especially versus Xie Lian! And that he’s had all this power but not had the mental “workouts” that XL has had over the years… I love XL’s method of instant retaliation is just kicking the TAR out of someone! And him using this beautiful fan as a sword – because, sword otaku XL! 😛 If we find out that HC went to his secret “bun vault” during this chapter set, I wouldn’t be surprised! Oooh, and THANK YOU for the translation meaning with those chapter titles! That helps out a lot! Thank you for that and the comment! So ready for next week already!

Hahahaha – GOOD POINT. I’m glad I don’t have to look at the chapter titles! 🙂 I love that Xie Lian is trying to talk the Wind Master through his panic – it’s SO SWEET. :3 And the Wind Master’s trust in XL is precious! And I agree – I would love the Wind Master as a friend! And loyal – XL may be their BFF, but the SECOND BFF! Ming Yi is surely grateful! I do love that HC provides some levity in these moments within the chapters. I just LOVE how XL gets distracted SO easily by HC, haha! And him saying “Hi There?” YESSSS, HC rubbing off on him! And XL LYING for him? There will surely be no consequences to any of this. *nervous chuckle* Ming Yi has really had it rough these chapters! For me to FORGET the FOOD POISONING! @_@ I DO love that drawing for the novel! SO adorable despite the seriousness about the things happening! AHAHAHA, “Milkshake” I imagine just plays in the background along with 00’s hip hop and pop when the Three Tumors are together! But yesssss, we get Four Tales lore expanded! :D HUZZAH! MXTX needs to stop tossing breadcrumbs and give us a dang LOAF already – even just a slice would be fine! And yesssss, Pei Ming, I’m convinced at this point, is OUT for XL’s BLOOD to get back at the Pei Jr. scandal – Leave our boy aloneeeeee! But at least we see how much the Water Master cares for his little brother! But YES, that cliffhanger! I’m hoping to read the next set tonight – I couldn’t wait any longer! The wait this past week was awful enough – MXTX how dare you with these cliffhangers! Thank you for the comment and kind words!

Drawn earth a prison: this phrase was just translated from Chinese directly. It does not necessarily mean a prison but someone that can only move within certain area. Btw, this windmaster story is the side story I like the most in TGCF
