**HEADPHONE WARNINGS**

This episode is SO fascinating, as we instantly get more layers with Daisuke's character and more insight into Haru's past and why he's where he's at now in the "Modern Crimes" force!

We also get new characters, more mystery with Bruce Wayn-- I mean Daisuke, and I have more questions that I'm excited to discover the answers (hopefully) to as we go!

I love the dynamic of Haru being so passionate, sincere and devoted to his work vs Daisuke who seemingly just paid his way into the force and solves all his issues dispassionately and emotionally removed, yet both of their methods work to a degree and can be equally criticised. It's so good! I think it's because Haru is so spirited and devoted that it interests/riles Daisuke up; I can't imagine that Mr Rich Heir Daisuke has many people that refuse his offer of "How much?" LOL (Daisuke is like a lost little puppy alone in a new environment hehe)

Daisuke tries a "Cup O Noodles," and proceeds to have his own version created by a chef.

You made me laugh at you calling Haru the apple pie version of the characters Mamoru usually plays, but it's so true. He's definitely the innocent type in comparison to the debonair and/or flamboyant type characters he's played before. Definitely need a Mamoru poll for you (or a Tsuda one) 😂 Daisuke when he was sucking on the gummy had pouty cheeks. Giving off such babie vibes, especially with how he follows Haru afterwards 🥺 Truly such puppy dog vibes. I think Daisuke was able to tell either from a scent or analysing their behaviour. I do seriously question the ethics and ability to land a conviction with Daisuke's methods. Daisuke tries Cup Noodles one time and has a chef make 5* quality (or potentially Michelin Star quality) Cup Noodles 😂 The fact there's some relationship between Daisuke and Suzue explains why when Izezaki was getting handsy with her in the car he wasn't looking. That one piece of information definitely changes the way you view that scene, and how you think about Daisuke. They definitely don't follow tropes with their characters, and that's especially evident with Suzue being glamorous, an amazing driver, mechanic, and really smart. You gotta love the Batman vibes with Daisuke's lair. And then the outfit Haru steals from someone else, paired with the mask, reminds me so much of The Riddler 😂 Daisuke bought the tower so that he could do whatever he felt like to it. Can't get done for damage if you own it. Having Daisuke plainly talk about Haru's trauma is definitely a great way to make you more intrigued on Haru's past. The comedy for the end of the episode is just great. Really makes me love Haru. So seiyuu this episode: The female detective of our little basement group is Ueda Reina, who has also voiced Intelli from Boku no Hero; and Tsuyuri from Kimetsu no Yaiba. The detective that went the more emotional route for the interrogation, Chou-san, is voiced by Kamiya Akira, but I don't believe you've heard him in anything before. Mita, the journalist, is Matsuoka Yoshisugu, who has also voiced Awase from Boku no Hero; Kanemaru from Daiya; Isurugi from Free!; Itsuki from Hoshiai no Sora; Mechamaru from Jujutsu Kaisen; Inosuke from Kimetsu no Yaiba; Hanazawa and Tokugawa from Mob Psycho; and Hirano from SasaMiya. The model guy, Izezaki Yuta, is Shimazaki Nobunaga, who has also voiced Furuya from Daiya; Haru from Free!; Suna from Haikyuu!!; Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen; Sakurai from Kuroko no Basuke; Kaidou from Saiki; and Kagiura from SasaMiya. Suzue is voiced by Sakamoto Maaya, who has also voiced Stella from Cowboy Bebop; Takada from Death Note; Tamayo from Kimetsu no Yaiba; Merlin from Nanatsu no Taizai; and Haruhi from Ouran High School Host Club.

I just love it! Daisuke's like, "Hm. This is not up to standards. CHEF! COME HERE!" :P And poor Haru didn't get any. T-T

Hey Romania, if you rewatch back to the moment where Haru says that Daisuke’s money took away their willingness to labor (the two comedian guys) then you can see Daisuke’s nose twitch and hear him sniff which is why he knew about the drugs because he smelled it off them before the guys went running! Also this episode was great, love that Daisuke went and made his own Ramen brand after trying ramen once and liking it. Of course he did, why wouldn’t he? LOL

Haru feels like a mix between Kazuki from buddy daddies and also Rin from free, which could sorely be because of Mamoru. Little info about the act the two guys did on the street. It's called Manzai and it's a stand up act that two people do. They speak pretty fast and most jokes revolve about misunderstandings. And there are roles in which one that is the boke often gets smacked on the head by the tsukkomi. So just a little side info that I recently learned while reading a BL manga. XD You gotta love Suzue. She's glamorous, a great mechanic and smart. I mean how could you not? I imagine that Kanbe told Suzue, at dinner, that there's this guy at work that he's interested in and she immediately could tell it was Kato. XD I'm honestly suprised how different Kanbe is from how I expected him to be. But I enjoy him this way a lot more. I noticed that recently a lot of stage actors get voice acting roles too. Suzue is voiced by Sakamoto Maaya who did Kinoyu Kasuga in Hoshiai no sora and Tamayo in Demon Slayer. One that I forgot last episode, HEUSC is voiced by Okitsu Kazuyuki who voiced Miri's bio father in Buddy Daddies, Suguru in Haikyuu and Yuki in Run with the wind. Wish you a wonderful day!

Yessss, they both have such interesting methods, though they seem to be striving towards a similar goal! I love the dynamic between them and how they already are playing off each other! Thank you for the comment! :D

OOOHHH, that's a GREAT catch! I love that shows Daisuke is more resourceful and observing than he seems at first! :) Thank you or pointing that out! :) And YES, of COURSE, Daisuke would see Haru's ramen and raise it to an 11 because....STANDARDS! <3 Thank you for the kind words and comment!

Hmmmm, might need a Mamoru/Tsuda/Suwabe poll in the future hahaha! But yeah, this is such a different role for Mamoru than I’m used to! Daisuke giving me much softer vibes than I was expecting from him in this episode! Someone on Patreon pointed out him sniffing the drugs out – I missed that detail so that’s good to see! I love that the Cup Noodles were not up “to standard,” so he had to make the ritzy version of them! It’s like he hires Barefoot Contessa to whip up the same thing that Haru got at a Seven Eleven. 😛 I also love re-watching and realizing that fact – that Daisuke was avoiding watching Suzue because she was family, not that he didn’t care about the situation. I love how that adds that extra dimension, like you noted! And Suzue is automatically best girl in my opinion! And the Batman and Riddler connection! That’s GENIUS! Love it!! I missed the part where they just BOUGHT the building, I think. Yep, that would do it, wouldn’t it! @_@ I also love that Daisuke just communicates so bluntly and openly with Haru; I really like that aspect of his character so far as well! Man, there are so many good VA’s in this series! I love it! Thank you so much for the kind words and comment! So excited for Sunday!

Ooohhhh yes, I'm going to be making Kazuki references in future episodes! There are some Buddy Daddies similarities I loved, but I love the Rin comparison, too -- if he starts crying, that'll cement the whole thing! :) Ohh, that is interesting about the Manzai bit -- thanks for pointing that out! I'll have to bring that up in a future reaction! I love Suzue, too! She's so awesome -- best girl material for sure; now we just need her to be a wingwoman! ;) And Miri's biological father voicing HEUSC! Ahahahah -- another Buddy Daddies connection, but I didn't realize he was Yuki from RWTW too! That's awesome! Thanks for the kind words and comment and have a wonderful day, too!
