The two best classic Mel Brooks comedies have got to be Blazing Saddles and Young Frankenstein, if you haven't seen them both. Mars Attacks! is a great silly sci fi invasion spoof with a million cameos by Tim Burton. Galaxy Quest it a great spoof of 'fan fic' sci fi, done perfectly (with a huge at-the-time sleeper cast who were all famous later). Must see absurd comedies by Monty Python, MP & The Holy Grail, and The Life of Brian (if you haven't already seen them all). Also over the top humor, The Blues Brothers, and Tropic Thunder (though I prefer Robert Downey Jr in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang).

🌌 Big sci-fi = Contact (1997) or The Abyss-Special Edition (1989)

Mike

Other unique Americana classics.: Napoleon Dynamite. O brother where art thou. Saving Private Ryan. No Country For Old Men... Possibly underrated animation movies?: The Iron Giant, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, The fox and the Hound... Also please share any Peruvian works that the world should know! Your reactions alone will spread Peru art around the world!

It would be great to see you react to some old school hip hop, specifically something from Tupac such as Dear Mama, Changes, etc. I think you would really enjoy it and fall in love with the artist. He still is a legend in the US culture today even though he passed away back in 1996.
