I have no proof of this, but I always felt like the "black people love chicken" thing came partially from the slavery era when we would eat the discarded scraps of plantation owners, chicken feet, chitterlings ("chitlins") pig intestines, pig feet/hooves, stuff like that. Turned into cultural staples in our "soul food". They would look at us eating chicken feet and be like "wow they like chicken so much they even eat the feet!" 😂

Man in my opinion subtitles are not good for comedy, they divide your attention and ruin punchlines... Not that it matters though love the channel

I love Dave Chappelle but the Dave Chappelle of today is not the same person this comedy special. Dave Chappelle became a recluse for many years after he quit the Dave Chappelle Show and slowly because of his wealth and very exclusive inner circle he seems to have morphed into a rich, very out of touch, bitter old man. And u can see that in his comedy today. His arguments often dont ring true. They are often about settling scores and responding to critics. And they dont seem to come from a place of joy or playfullness. (He is still funnier than most but that just his raw talent seeping through.) Google dave chappelle and “affordable housing” to see how much he has changed. He went from the type of person who make fun of elon musk to the type of person who is personal friends with elon. Who brings elon on to the stage during one of his comedy sets and lambasts the crowd when they boo elon. (Something that actually happened.)
